Im Werk Stuttgart-Untertürkheim entstehen hochmoderne elektrische Antriebseinheiten und Achsen für den neuen CLA – ein weiterer Schritt in der Transformation des Traditionsstandorts hin zur Elektromobilität. Zusammen mit den Werkteilen Mettingen und Hedelfingen werden dort Elektromotor, Leistungselektronik und Getriebeelemente gefertigt und montiert.

Die Produktion ist auf dem neuesten Stand der Technik.
Eine rund 10.000 Quadratmeter große Montagehalle mit über 200 Fertigungsprozessen gewährleistet Effizienz und Präzision. Alle Komponenten sind vollständig digital vernetzt über das System MO360 – für maximale Transparenz und Rückverfolgbarkeit jeder Einheit.

Auch organisatorisch stellt Mercedes-Benz wichtige Weichen für die Zukunft.

Eine neue Betriebsvereinbarung sichert langfristige Produktionsumfänge im Top-End Segment und stärkt die Rolle des Werks als globales Kompetenzzentrum für elektrische Antriebstechnologien. Bereits heute arbeiten rund 23.000 Beschäftigte am Standort, über 13.500 davon in der Fertigung.

Der eCampus als Innovationsmotor.
Die 2024 eröffnete Entwicklungszentrale für Batterie- und Zelltechnologien untermauert den Fokus auf Elektromobilität. In Zukunft wird das Werk Brühl ebenfalls Batterien für neue Modelle montieren – ein klares Zeichen für die internationale Verknüpfung des Mercedes-Benz Powertrain-Produktionsnetzwerks.

Der neue CLA fährt elektrisch – mit Herz aus Untertürkheim.
