00:07The first fully electric Rally car from the traditional Alpine brand,
00:11which was developed specifically for customer racing.
00:16The compact electric car will celebrate its premiere at the Rally Rueg in southern France,
00:20before demonstrating its skills at the Goodwood Festival of Speed in the Rally Mont Blanc Morzin,
00:25among other events, later in the year.
00:30The Alpine A290 Rally brings a real motorsport feeling to the world of electric mobility.
00:37With an output of around 220 horsepower and a torque of 300 Nm,
00:42the front-wheel-drive compact sports car delivers impressive performance.
00:48A ZF Limited Slip Differential ensures optimum traction,
00:52while six piston brakes on the front axle, a special racing abs and a hydraulic handbrake
00:57guarantee maximum precision in vehicle control.
01:00Although the chassis is based on the production version of the A290,
01:04it has been comprehensively revised by Alpine Racing to make it suitable for racing.
01:10Among other things, shock absorbers from ELB Racing Suspension and Michelin Pilot Sport tires
01:16on 18-inch Evo course rims are used.
01:18The braking system is also based on current top rally vehicles.
01:23At the front, 350mm brake discs with six piston calipers are used.
01:29At the rear, there are 280mm discs with single piston calipers.
01:33A special highlight is the newly developed sound system,
01:38which underscores the otherwise quiet electric drive with an artificially generated soundscape
01:42that matches the speed and accelerator pedal position, making the driving experience more emotional.
01:47Inside, Alpine focuses on uncompromising safety.
01:52A welded roll cage and VI-compliant sabre bucket seats reliably protect the driver and front passenger.
02:03The vehicle's technology is secured by modern EV monitoring systems that ensure optimum use of the electric drive.
02:11Both the transmission and the drive management have been specially adapted for motorsport.
02:18The Alpine A290 Rally is manufactured in the renowned racing workshop of the manufacturer Alpine Dip Gene Redelay.
02:27It was developed by the technical team in Vertalon in accordance with current rally regulations
02:31and is prepared for numerous customer racing scenarios, from one-make cups to open competitions.
02:39Alpine not only offers a ready-to-use vehicle, but also comprehensive technical and sporting support.
02:46The range also includes its own environmentally friendly charging infrastructure,
02:50as well as special competition formats and training courses.
02:55A single-seater rally challenge will take place in France this year,
02:59in which the first A290 Rally models delivered will compete.
03:06With a net price of around €60,000 for the fully assembled and painted vehicle,
03:11the A290 Rally is priced in a range that offers ambitious private drivers and professional teams
03:16an attractive entry into electric rallying.
