00:00Mert can orientate yourself and I think that's a great one.
00:21Yes, we've just come from the works meeting here in Ingolstadt, where we postponed the
00:26reduction of collective bargaining increases, no one-stop shop for collective bargaining
00:31bonuses and no outsourcing for short-time work benefits.
00:44In the indirect area, we will I would first like to thank the negotiating teams on both
00:49sides in the codetermination process and also the team on the company side for a tough but
00:54substantive exchange and negotiations in which Audi was always the focus.
01:09We have reached clear agreements with one another to make Audi fit for the future.
01:16We really achieved a breakthrough last week.
01:19We agreed very early on to base the restructuring of Audi on Substance.
01:27A year and a half ago, we launched the Audi Agenda.
01:30With the Audi Agenda, we defined where this company should develop in terms of content.
01:38We derived targets from this last spring and then used these as the basis for our future
01:43agreement in exploratory talks with the codetermination process starting in November.
01:50We want to make Audi leaner, faster, and more flexible, and thus future-proof.
01:57And it was clear to us from the outset in the discussions that this would not be possible without adjustments.
02:03In the indirect area, we will reduce the number of employees by 6,000 by the end of 2027 and by a further 1,500 by the end of 202, bringing the total to 7,500.
02:20The whole thing will be done in a socially acceptable manner.
02:33We will invest a total of 8 billion euros in our German locations to ensure the company's long-term future viability in Germany.
02:40We have agreed on a 250 million euros future fund, which will invest in innovations and technologies at both German locations.
03:00We will set up an entry-level electric vehicle segment in Ingolstadt and will also produce successors in Ingolstadt in conjunction with our Hungarian plant in Gopingen.
03:10In Ulm, we will be driving forward the topics of AI and digitalization and will be using the further developed electric electronics platform for our combustion engine vehicles in order to keep these vehicles competitive in the long term.
03:40In return, we have decided to continue job security until the end of 2033 and to structure this restructuring in a socially acceptable manner in order to give employees clarity on the one hand,
03:52but also the security needed to jointly and constructively drive this restructuring forward on the other.
03:57In summary, in addition to the socially acceptable adjustment of around 7,500 employees by the end of 202,
04:12we are strengthening the German locations and reducing labor costs.
04:15In the medium term, we will reduce personnel costs by more than 1 billion euros per year,
04:26and in the coming weeks we will jointly design the necessary personnel instruments in detail and then agree on co-determination with the employee representatives.
04:33And um, and as a very last and important statement, um, I've been asked a lot who the winner of this negotiation is and I can tell you quite clearly,
04:50the winner of this negotiation is Audi and the employees at Audi.
05:00We have finally negotiated hard over many weeks and months in various negotiation situations,
05:07negotiated hard, but always objectively and on an equal footing and, above all, very constructively and I think that makes the difference.
05:15We have opted for an Audi path, which has always been a special Audi path and that is what makes us Audiana.
05:21We have the special Audi KFUI and with this Audi KFUI we have gotten through many crises in the past decades.
05:29We have achieved a major breakthrough, the entire package is now in place.
05:32We promised and we have kept our promises.
05:35Security in uncertain times was our motto.
05:38We were able to extend job security until December 31st, 2033.
05:45We were able to agree that we will insource positions that are still unfilled today,
05:50up to 1,000 new positions that will be insourced or re-insourced at Audi in order to ultimately do more justice to Audi's technology leadership.
05:59We have agreed on investments in the locations.
06:03A whole range of topics.
06:048 billion that was promised, over 3 billion that we were also able to agree on in the talks.
06:11And a completely new development, at Standard Ingolstadt, in conjunction with Gore,
06:16we will now also be getting the Q3, which is an important and key requirement of the company.
06:21That we establish the location in Ingolstadt, regardless of what happens in the whole debate about electric vehicles and combustion engines.
06:28That we remain open to technology here too and can ultimately orient ourselves to the markets.
06:33And I think it is a great success that in the future, in addition to the E3 CUFI, which will be launched next year,
06:39we will also be able to build the Q3 here in Ingolstadt.
06:43The staff cuts put 12,000 jobs at risk.
06:47Mr. Dolner just said it.
06:49We have agreed on socially acceptable staff reductions.
06:52That means we are doing everything with partial retirement schemes, we are doing everything with early retirement programs,
07:01all within a very socially acceptable framework, so that the bottom line will be 6,000 positions,
07:06and these positions will only be eliminated if it can be proven that the activity is no longer required.
07:12If that is not the case, then the positions will not be eliminated.
07:15We had a clear mandate from the workforce, and we unanimously achieved all of our goals.
07:23No cuts to the monthly collective agreements, no postponement or reduction of collectively agreed increases,
07:29no cuts to collectively agreed allowances or short-time work benefits, no outsourcing.
07:34It was a very emotional issue.
07:35We also experienced this today at the works meeting from the catering department,
07:39the work service department, and also from sales in Germany.
07:42There is no obligation to attend at Audi, but there was a joint call today between the board of management and the works council
07:49for increased attendance in order to re-establish networking there as well, in order to move Audi forward.
07:56And as the icing on the cake, we at IG Metal were able to push through an IG Metal member bonus at Audi.
08:03All IG Metal members will receive a member bonus of up to €1,250 per year starting next year.
08:09This is of course a great success for us at IG Metal at Audi.
08:15And in order to ultimately demonstrate a contribution from our work there, we had to change the AEB.
08:23We have reformed our Audi profit sharing scheme with a sustainable value, but also with a turbo,
08:29where the volume will ultimately be paid out over the next four years with tighter handbrake.
08:34Specifically, it is 31.25% less.
08:39So not 31.25%, but 31.25% less that we will pay out over these four years.
08:50And that is our contribution as employees to ultimately securing Audi's future.
08:54But monthly incomes have not been touched.
08:59The collective bargaining agreements are still secure.
09:01I believe, as Mr. Dolner said, it is a very good compromise for both sides, a very sustainable result.
09:08The winner is Audi and the people at Audi.
09:11With this Audi path, we have now created the conditions for Audi to be given a real vitamin injection again.
09:17And now we are once again getting to work with a lot of heart and soul and with even more passion.
09:23We told our colleagues this in individual speeches at the end of the BVA that they are really keen to get going again now that they no longer have to worry or have to struggle.
09:32Thank you very much.
09:33And the special feature has to be assessed and also named, because it is important that we brought both districts together to then make a marriage agreement for the Ingolstadt and Eckersoll location, jointly for Audi and for our colleagues.
09:55What I would like to say to you, you can feel the security today at the Ingolstadt Works meeting.
10:05You can feel that our colleagues are happy that there has been a result and that we can now move forward together, that we can move Audi forward together, where we belong.
10:15Together and, I am sure of this, we will achieve this together.
10:18I would also like to say here again what is important to me as the chairman of the Neckersollm Works Council.
10:27We have also pre-founded another one for Audi standard NIRS for the future, once the planning rounds 75-76, so that we are well positioned there for the future, for platform-oriented production for the B vehicle, so that we get a corresponding vehicle in 2030, so that we have additional capacity utilization again.
10:46I think that is a success for our standard.
10:52It was also important for us in Neckersollman that we see the AI future in Eggersollman as the lead plant for production, since we also have the Lidl and Schwartz campus and everything in the area, where we know users very well.
11:07Overall, I think it is a very good package for both sides.
11:10What I'd also like to emphasize is that the unity there, even on the company side, the way in which we negotiated, was a special feature.
11:22The fact that we conducted it in a closed room isn't always the right thing these days, or rather, not always a given, I'd say.
11:29And that's why it's a special thing that we're standing here, presenting the results together, and supporting them together.
11:42Thank you very much.
