00:00Welcome to the video from the Auto Magazine Tuning Blog.
00:04Today, we're all about the new FX Package for the 2026 Ford Mustang,
00:09which celebrates a true 1980s steel revival.
00:14Ford has drawn inspiration from the past for this new equipment package
00:18and is bringing a retro look to the road with the FX Pack,
00:21which is sure to delight fans of the classic Fox Body Mustang in particular.
00:25The FX Package brings a striking look with the new color Adriatic Blue Metallic Taking Center Stage.
00:34A tone reminiscent of the turquoise of the third Mustang model.
00:38This is combined with white accents, including new wheel designs in Oxford White.
00:43There are two variants to choose from.
00:46On the one hand, a new version of the familiar 19-inch 5-spoke wheel.
00:50On the other hand, a performance pack wheel set with a classic retro design
00:55that perfectly matches the look of the original Fox Body models.
01:00Both wheels have white hubcaps with lettering specially designed for the FX Package.
01:07Inspired by the topography of the Mustang models from 1987 to 1993.
01:12But it's not just the rims that are white.
01:15Emblems such as the 5L and GT badges also have a white outline.
01:18At the front, an all-white Mustang logo frames the centrally positioned radiator grille in black glass.
01:28On models with the performance package, the so-called nostrils, i.e. the inlets on the bonnet,
01:33are also in Oxford White, while on standard models they appear in a dark carbon gray.
01:38Another highlight are the white taillights, which create a strong contrast to the new blue paintwork
01:46and have a particularly striking effect.
01:49The 80s style is consistently continued in the interior.
01:52The seats, both the standard sport seats and the optional Recaro seats,
01:59have special perforated leather inserts with black and white patterns
02:02that are visually reminiscent of the checkered seat covers of earlier Mustang models.
02:09Ford skillfully plays with visual effects here to combine nostalgic flair with a modern look.
02:14The interior also features contrasting city silver and adriatic blue stitching throughout.
02:20These run across the doors, dashboard, seats and steering wheel.
02:25The dashboard also features a Mustang GT badge in the signature FX font.
02:31Another small but effective detail.
02:34New seatbelt colors for all Mustang variants,
02:37including international orange, prime blue and black with a red stripe.
02:40A subtle but stylish customization option.
02:46The popular Orange Fury Metallic Tricode color,
02:49which was last available in 2019, also returns.
02:56The white taillights are also available through the Ford Performance Parts catalog,
03:00so that owners of other 7th generation Mustang models can also retrofit their vehicle.
03:06The FX package is available for the Mustang GT Premium.
03:10Both with and without the Performance Package,
03:13in every body style and with both available transmission options.
03:18By the way, order books for the 2026 model year Mustang will open later this month.
03:26So if you're looking for a successful combination of retro charm and modern technology,
03:31the FX package is not to be missed.
