00:00Welcome to the video from the Car Magazine Tuning Blog.
00:03Today we're talking about a real highlight from the Czech Republic, the Prague Bohema,
00:08a road-legal hypercar with motorsport genes and Nissan power.
00:13The Prague Bohema is an incompromising two-seater with a mid-engine that impresses with its
00:17ultra-lightweight design and aerodynamically optimized carbon body.
00:23At its heart is a V6 turbocharged engine from the Nissan GT-R, revised by Elchfield,
00:28which delivers a whopping 700 hp and 720 Nm of torque.
00:35The 3.8-liter engine is mounted longitudinally behind the occupants and has been converted
00:40to dry sump lubrication, which ensures constant lubrication even under extreme lateral acceleration.
00:48It is coupled to a sequential Helen transmission with an automated clutch that transmits power
00:53exclusively to the rear wheels.
00:54The top speed of the Prague Bohema is over 300 kmph and the sprint from 0 to 100 kmph is
01:04achieved in under 3.5 seconds.
01:09The chassis with independent suspension and horizontally mounted spring elements is not
01:13adaptive, but nevertheless ensures a balanced mix of road comfort and racetrack suitability.
01:18Downforce reaches around 900 kg at 250 kmph almost as much as the dry weight of the entire vehicle,
01:29which is only 982 kg.
01:32This is made possible, among other things, by the carbon fiber monocoque and the outer skin,
01:37which is also made entirely of carbon.
01:39At the front, the horizontal suspension struts and the narrow front wings are striking,
01:46while at the rear a single large fairing covers the engine, transmission and suspension.
01:52The doors open at the top and reveal a cockpit that, despite its racing design,
01:56also offers comfortable space for tall drivers.
01:59The interior is dominated by Alcantara surfaces, a removable steering wheel with integrated display
02:06and a reduced driver-friendly center console with functions such as launch control,
02:11fire extinguisher activation and electronic parking brake.
02:17The mirror adjustment and electronic door openers are located on the side of the cockpit,
02:21while the air conditioning control is housed in a fighter jet-like module on the ceiling.
02:25Storage compartments, bottle holders and a holder for the smartphone round off the well-thought-out interior.
02:35For luggage, such as a racing suit, helmet or weekend bag,
02:39there are 50L storage compartments in the rear fenders,
02:41for which specially matching leather luggage is available.
02:47The Bohema is fitted with 18-inch rims at the front and 19-inch rims at the rear,
02:52which are fitted with 255-40Z18 and 335Z1 tires.
03:00Alternatively, there are also 18-inch pure racing wheels,
03:03compatible with current racing tires.
03:06Deceleration is provided by a durable carbon ceramic brake system
03:10with 380mm discs and 6-piston calipers.
03:15A 47-liter tank ensures sufficient range.
03:18The Bohema has been in small-scale production since January 2024,
03:24after the state initially delayed production due to extensive testing.
03:30The first 10 vehicles for 2024 have already been fully allocated,
03:34and production will also be limited to a maximum of 20 units each for the coming years.
03:38There will be no more than 89 vehicles in total.
03:45A reminder of a historic racing victory by Praga 89 years ago.
03:50The price for one example starts at around 1,360,000 euros plus taxes.
03:58Buyers will not simply receive the vehicle,
04:00but will experience an exclusive vehicle handover on the racetrack,
04:04including detailed instructions.
