00:30Welcome to the video from the Car Magazine Tuning Block.
00:36Today we're talking about the Brabus Rocket GTC Deep Red,
00:40an open-top hyper GT with a whopping 1,000-horsepower system output
00:45and a look that will leave you speechless.
00:48Brabus deliberately avoids restraint here and instead relies on pure provocation.
00:53Red exposed carbon fiber from front to back,
00:56a retractable fabric top and a silhouette that looks as if it wants to burst through the asphalt
01:01even when stationary.
01:03The body of the vehicle is not only a visual highlight, but also aerodynamically sophisticated.
01:09Wide sidewalls make the rear almost 2 meters wide.
01:13Spoilers and air intakes are not just for show,
01:16but ensure real downforce and stable road holding, even at high speeds.
01:20At the front, a striking apron takes care of the airflow for the radiator and brakes,
01:27while the sill directs the airflow further to the rear.
01:31Under the hood is a 4.5 LV-8 biturbo, which alone delivers 796 horsepower.
01:38The whole thing is complemented by an I engine,
01:41which turns the GTC Deep Red into a hybrid rocket with a total of 1,000 horsepower.
01:45The maximum torque is theoretically 1,820 Nm,
01:51but is electronically limited to 1,620 Nm for reasons of durability.
01:57Even the pure combustion engine delivers 1,250 Nm, limited to 1,050 Nm.
02:05Brabus refrains from providing details on the range or battery capacity,
02:10but it is clear that this is not about efficiency,
02:12but about in compromising performance, and that is not neglected visually either.
02:17The Rocket GTC Deep Red is mounted on monoblock wheels in 21-inch sizes at the front
02:22and 22-inch sizes at the rear with continental high-performance tires
02:27that perfectly match the aggressive wedge shape.
02:30The chassis is consistently tuned for performance, without compromise.
02:34The same standards continue seamlessly inside.
02:37The interior is a Brabus masterpiece in red leather,
02:40precisely stitched in the so-called shell design.
02:44Every detail from the seat surface to the footwell is perfectly coordinated,
02:48handcrafted, exclusive and completely without any series character.
02:52The open character of the vehicle really brings out the design
02:55when the electro-hydraulic top is open.
02:58And of course, the entire project is based on the Mercedes-AMG SL63 of the R2230 series,
03:05but it has been revised so heavily that hardly anything remains of the original model.
03:10In numbers, that means it is around 4.7 meters long, around 2.0 meters wide,
03:16around 1.3 meters high and has a wheelbase of around 2.7 meters.
03:20The price.
03:21Brabus does not provide any official figures,
03:24but similar models can easily cost over 800,000 euros.
03:28Depending on the equipment, they can cost more.
03:30The Brabus Rocket GTC Deep Red is therefore anything but a normal convertible or coupé.
03:36It is a driving statement.
03:38Loud, fast, incompromising and clearly not built for the reserve.
03:43Anyone who wants to put this monster in their garage needs one thing in addition to a penchant for excess.
03:49Courage.
