00:30So, our design intention for this all-new Citroën AMI was to come up with a design which is more mature and friendlier.
00:38We wanted to make sure that as soon as you look at it, you fall in love with the design.
00:43And it's what we call love at the first sight.
00:45So, what we've done is that on the current generation of AMI, you have the headlamp position in the lower part of the bumper.
00:51And we decided to move them up in the higher position.
00:55And automatically, you start reading two very expressive eyes.
01:00And then we placed those two headlamps on a big scooped-out surface that creates a capsule around the two headlamps.
01:07And then we gave a face to Citroën AMI.
01:09And then when you look at it, you have the feeling the car is smiling at you.
01:13And also, we wanted to integrate our new identity and obviously our new logo.
01:18That's why we placed it on this big scooped-out surface.
01:22And we went for something very daring. We made it red.
01:25So, something very iconic and visible on the road.
01:27And we also wanted to keep playing with the symmetry that shows this very smart approach of conception.
01:35So, that's why the front bumper is exactly the same piece that you find at the back of the car.
01:40And same for the side panel of the car.
01:42On the driver side, the same part on the passenger side.
01:46And there's one detail that I find really cool that I would like to focus on.
01:50It's those little stripes you see on the rear fender here.
01:53We wanted to pay tribute to our pass onto the 2CV.
01:57And it's exactly the same shape that you find on the front wheel arches of the 2CV.
02:01We have also our beautiful night-color sepia that we introduced last year.
02:07And it will be possible to customize it with three color packs.
02:11Icey, minty, and spicy.
02:13And what we've done is that we designed a specific pattern, like this little square or squircle,
02:17that you will find all around the car.
02:20On the sticker you have on the rear window, on the sticker on the door,
02:23and also on the super iconic wheel cover.
02:26And it makes the overall design more homogeneous and super coherent.
02:32On those colors also, you will find them in the interior to add even more fun
02:36and to have something more colorful in the door net,
02:39the extra storage on the dashboard, and also on the little hook of the dashboard.

02:50In the past, we sold a few units of Ami Buggy that sold, by the way, in a few minutes or in a few hours.
03:00And we saw in the last Paris Motor Show a kind of concept of Ami Buggy based on the new design.
03:07So are you going to provide also a few units that we will have to order overnight?

03:16No, it won't be sold anymore as limited edition.
03:21I am pleased and proud to announce today that the new Ami Buggy will be offered all year long as a part of the range.
03:32As Citroën, we want a buggy for all, as practical as Ami, but with more fun and outdoor spirit.

03:49I suppose you had good fun to design the new Citroën Ami Buggy.
03:54Yes, it was a lot of fun.
03:55Actually, it's not every day we can design a vehicle without doors.
03:58So for the design of the buggy, we wanted to do a vehicle that looks tough and cool at the same time.
04:06So what we've done is that we actually removed the door from the closed version.
04:11We designed a specific door frame around it where we integrated a metallic gate that offers protection to the passenger and driver.
04:18Then we have also the super iconic golden rims that give a tough look to the vehicle.
04:25And then we designed a specific set of accessories such as a sticker on the rear window and also the wheelhouse cladding that emphasizes the outdoor look of the vehicle.
04:36But the buggy is way more than just a cool-looking vehicle.
04:40It's not just a vehicle to go from A to B.
04:44It's a fantastic driving experience of driving.
04:48And personally, I had the chance to drive it.
04:50And I can guarantee you it's a very cool and unique experience.
04:54And to make this possible, actually, we wanted to design a vehicle which is open as much as possible.
05:00And that's why we have a very big open roof above your head that will let the sun come in.
05:07And actually, it's an open roof which is even bigger than the previous generation of buggy.
05:13And then on the side, you will feel the fresh air coming into the interior of the vehicle.
05:18So all this gives you a very impressive feeling of freedom in the interior.
05:23And there is one last thing I would like to present.
05:27It's our little Andy.
05:30I'm very pleased to introduce it to you.
05:32So it's a little avatar we designed specifically for the AMI buggy.
05:36It's an avatar that measures about 12 centimeters height.
05:40And it's like a true friend that will always follow you when you go on an adventure with the buggy.
05:47And you can place it wherever you want on the dashboard thanks to magnets we place under the feet.
05:53And the bobblehead will bring a lot of fun when you will start moving during your ride in the AMI buggy.
