00:10Mercedes-Benz recently released new images of this vehicle, which, despite its camouflage, already reveals some details of its future design.
00:19Particularly striking is the redesigned lighting graphic, which bears typical design features of the brand at both the front and rear and boasts a futuristic character.
00:30The official premiere of the new AMG GT4 with all-electric drive will take place in June 2025 in Off-Walterbach.
00:39Technically, the vehicle is based on the newly developed AMG performance platform, i.e. AMG's electric architecture, which will also serve as the basis for other high-performance models in the future.
00:51This architecture was specifically designed for extreme performance values.
00:55The most powerful version is planned for up to 1,000 horsepower and a maximum torque of around 1,500 Nm, while the entry-level versions will probably start with around 400 horsepower.
01:07The electric drive is provided by so-called axial flux motors, which have a particularly high-torque density and thus enable very efficient power delivery.
01:21An integrated high-performance high-voltage battery, the capacity of which has not yet been specified, provides the power.
01:27Despite its camouflage, the new AMG GT EQ remains visually recognizable as a four-door sports car with dynamic proportions.
01:36The flat front end and the distinctive rear end underscore the model's sporty aspirations, which clearly borrow from previous GT models but are further developed through the EQ design language.
