Der Giamaro Katla ist ein neuer italienischer Hypercar, der mit seinem 7,0-Liter-V12 und 4 Turboladern unglaubliche 2.127 PS liefert. Mit 2.010 Nm Drehmoment und Heckantrieb ist dieses Auto nichts für schwache Nerven. Der Katla bringt dank Carbon-Monocoque nur 1.450 kg auf die Waage – ein echtes Leichtgewicht mit maximaler Performance.

Entwickelt wurde das Fahrzeug von Giamaro Automobili in Modena. Drei Leistungsstufen per Schlüssel, eine aktive Aerodynamik und ein cockpit-inspirierter Innenraum machen den Katla zu einem radikal eigenständigen Hypercar. 00:00Welcome to the new video from the Auto Magazine Tuning Blog.
00:04Today we're talking about the Giamaro Cutler, a brand new Italian hypercar that pushes all boundaries in every respect.
00:13The vehicle was unveiled in Modena by the young brand Giamaro Automobili,
00:17which describes itself as a new force in the field of ultra-high-performance automobiles.
00:23And in view of the Cutler, this self-description almost seems like an understatement.
00:30At the heart of this brutal vehicle is a completely in-house developed 7-liter V12 engine
00:35with four turbochargers in a 120-degrees hot V configuration.
00:41The unit produces an incredible 2,128 horsepower and delivers a maximum torque of around 2,000 Nm.
00:48This would make the Cutler the second most powerful production vehicle in automotive history.
00:53Only surpassed by the Koenig's Gerr with around 2,266 horsepower.
01:00By comparison, the Hennesse Venom F5 Evolution and the Bugatti Turbolon,
01:05with their 2031 and around 1,775 horsepower respectively, almost look like golf carts.
01:12All this concentrated power goes exclusively to the rear wheels.
01:17A mechanical differential lock and an automated 7-speed transmission from Ziema make this possible.
01:22An 11-speed dual-clutch transmission is also currently under development.
01:30Although nothing is known about the top speed and acceleration,
01:34the vehicle's weight of only around 1,450 kg suggests extreme driving performance.
01:39The Cutler owes its low weight primarily to a carbon fiber monocoque weighing just around 170 kg,
01:49which, together with a fully CNC-milled aluminum body, adaptive dampers,
01:53intelligent suspension and active aerodynamics, ensures maximum performance.
01:57An active rear wing transforms into an air brake when needed,
02:04and carbon ceramic brake discs help tame the beast.
02:09Three different vehicle keys each activate different power levels.
02:12The white key provides a range of between around 400 and 800 horsepower.
02:20According to Jamaro, this ensures smooth and safe driving.
02:24Those using the black key can access around 1,650 horsepower.
02:30The full power of over 2,000 horsepower is only available with the red key.
02:35Certainly not for the faint-hearted.
02:36The carteler also makes an impression visually.
02:40Aggressive and loud enough to make an impression, but not overpowering.
02:45The proportions are deliberately designed to be rear-heavy with two striking air intakes on the roof and front sections
02:51inspired by combat sports cars, including angular air intakes and integrated daytime running lights.
02:57The interior is also reminiscent of a cockpit, with a central control panel like in a combat vehicle.
03:03Two screens and lots of visible carbon and aluminum emphasize the high-tech character.
03:10Jamaro plans to make every single version of the carteler unique.
03:15Not only should colors and materials be individually selectable,
03:19but also steering behavior, chassis tuning and accelerator characteristics.
03:24Even the configurator could be a challenge.
03:26But you're happy to take your time with a vehicle like this.
03:29Anyone who thinks that's all there is is mistaken.
03:33At the same time, the Jamaro Albor was also presented.
03:37An off-road hypercar based on the same carbon monocoque and identical V112.
03:43With increased ground clearance and a more spectacular design,
03:46it is set to push the boundaries of what is possible even further.
03:50Whether it will also come with rear-wheel drive remains to be seen.
03:54Given its 2,000 horsepower on loose surfaces, that would be more than exciting.
