00:06which will be presented at the 2025 Shanghai Auto Show as a fundamentally revised version of the previous flagship SUV.
00:15The model, which already has over 100,000 customers, relies on the city light and shadow aesthetics design motif and combines family utility with distinctive style.
00:26A uniformly painted body, new 21-inch dynamic wheels and more ground clearance give the car a noticeably more valuable and stately appearance.
00:39At just under 5 meters long, around 2 meters wide, around 1.7 meters high and with a 2.1 meters wheelbase,
00:47the Free Plus has grown by 1 centimeter in length and width and by 1.5 cm in height compared to its predecessor,
00:53which gives the passengers additional space.
00:57The biggest advances, however, are in the technology.
01:01The Free Plus is one of the first production cars to use Huawei's RDS4 Driver Assistance System in combination with Harmony OS Cockpit 5.
01:09This package enables highway navigation with autopilot, automatic lane changes, and evasive maneuvers,
01:15supported by laser radar and sensor fusion for increased safety.
01:19This is complemented by the EDC Magic Carpet Suspension with five individually adjustable modes,
01:26which combines comfort and dynamics thanks to predictive control.
01:31An onboard refrigerator, pressure-relieving comfort seats, a separate entertainment display,
01:37and a surround sound system await the occupants, creating a truly luxurious ambience.
01:42The drivetrain retains the hybrid principle of a 1.5-liter range extender and two electric motors.
01:52Together, they deliver 492 horsepower and 720 newton-meters of torque,
01:58catapulting the SUV from 0 to 100 kilometers per hour in 4.4 seconds.
02:03For additional safety, a lithium-iron phosphate battery replaces the previous lithium pack.
02:10The all-electric CRTC range is approximately 210 kilometers.
02:16Market launch is planned for the coming months.
02:19However, the manufacturer hasn't announced any specific prices yet.
