00:00Hello, welcome to the AutoMagazine Tuning Blog video on the Avatar 12 with a large triple lid.
00:07Avatar has unveiled the updated 2025 Avatar 12 model.
00:13A facelifted version of the mid to large size sedan, it is available in six variants in all electric and extended range configurations.
00:22The update focuses primarily on simplifying configurations across all variants.
00:27According to the official price list, the starting price is around €34,000 and goes up to more than €54,000.
00:39Those who order before May 31 can take advantage of a limited-time offer that reduces the starting price to around €33,000 and narrows the overall range to around €33,000 to around €53,000.
00:52Buyers can also receive configuration benefits worth up to around €5,100, including advanced RDS functions, a 25-speaker meridian sound system, and 21-inch wheels.
01:08Other innovations include an interior color called Dye Red, inspired by traditional Chinese colors, and optional 20-inch spinning blade wheels, previously popular on the Avatar 11.
01:24The ultra-extended range version also impresses with an intelligent electric door system that features a welcome logo illumination on the front door.
01:33With a length of 5 meters, a width of 2 meters, a height of 1.5 meters, and a wheelbase of 3 meters, the exterior follows the future elegance philosophy and impresses with a coupe-like silhouette, concealed door handles, an electrically lifting rear boiler, and slim taillights.
01:55The high-end models optionally have electronic exterior mirrors.
02:02The interior is dominated by the tech luxury theme, reflected in a 34.4-inch 4K panoramic screen and a 15.6-inch central control system powered by the Harmony OS.
02:15All models come standard with front dual seats offering features such as heating, ventilation, and massage, while rear passengers benefit from a floating duck screen system and fully functional seats that provide approximately 1 meter of legroom.
02:32High-quality materials such as napa leather, suede-like fabric, and fine solid wood are used in the interior.
02:42And since there is no rear window, every variant includes a streaming rear-view mirror.
02:48For intelligent driving, the Huawei Chang'an RDS 3.0 system is installed, supported by a large triple charger.
02:56This system comprises three long-range chargers that offer a horizontal view of 300 degrees and a vertical view of 25 degrees, enabling a range of up to 150 meters on the sides.
03:10Supported by a total of 29 sensors, the system enables comprehensive parking assistance and includes the Huawei Chang'an Omnidirectional C3.0, which offers fully automatic emergency braking at high speeds and fusion perception for collision avoidance.
03:33The 2025AR is based on an 800-volt platform.
03:37The extended range variant is equipped with a single motor delivering a maximum output of 314 horsepower and achieving a CLTC range in all-electric mode of approximately 245 kilometers and a total range of around 1,150 kilometers.
03:56The all-electric rear-wheel drive model features a single motor producing 237 kilowatts and achieving a CLTC range of 755 kilometers.
04:09The all-electric all-wheel drive version is powered by the latest silicon carbide motors, with maximum power at the front axle of 224 horsepower and 322 horsepower at the rear axle, resulting in a total of 547 horsepower and 607 newton-meters of torque.
04:30This version accelerates from 0 to 100 kilometers per hour in 3.8 seconds.
04:41Current sales data shows that more than 2,000 units were sold in April and a total of over 5,000 units in 2025, suggesting that the rapid update is aimed at boosting sales.
04:52There's no information about the vehicle's drag coefficient, which has led to some debate.
