Der Volvo XC90 Facelift 2025 bringt das beliebte Luxus-SUV mit einigen beeindruckenden Updates zurück auf die Straße. 00:32the XC90 remains true to its combustion engine and is getting a model update to complement the electric alternative.

00:42This extension is a clever move, as demand for purely electric vehicles is still subdued in many markets

00:48and electric vehicles are often less financially attractive for manufacturers.

00:51Volvo is therefore responding cleverly to the market and continuing to launch the XC90 with a combustion engine.

01:01A welcome option for all those who want to stick with the traditional drivetrain.

01:07The XC90 thus remains one of the pillars of Volvo's SUV range in the new X90

01:12and shows that not everyone wants to switch to purely electric models.

01:15The facelift keeps the Volvo XC90 technically and visually fresh, so that it also shines alongside the X90.

01:24Unlike some of its competitors, the XC90 continues to do without diesel and six-cylinder engines.

01:30However, the popular top-of-the-line T8 version remains available as a plug-in hybrid PFI.

01:35Those who don't feel like charging can alternatively choose the B5 or B6 mild hybrid variants.

01:43Thanks to its 8.8 kWh battery, the XC90 T8 offers an electric range of around 70 km.

01:51Less than some competitors, which often manage up to 100 km, but still impressive for everyday use.

01:57The drivetrain combines a 2-liter turbo engine with 228 kW, 310 hp, with an electric motor that contributes 107 kW, 145 hp.

02:11This powerful combination produces over 700 Nm of torque and accelerates the car from a standstill in 5.4 seconds.

02:21However, the journey ends at a top speed of 180 km per hour, faster than some competitors.

02:27In Germany, the XC90 will also be launched with the B5 version, which uses a four-cylinder engine with 184 kW and 250 hp,

02:39while other markets will also get the B6 with a turbocharger and electric compressor, which offers 221 kW and 300 hp.

02:49The interior of the facelift brings new lights, more comfortable seats, and an updated cockpit.

02:54The interior of the XC90, whether in the 5, 6, or 7-seater variant, features the vertically mounted 11.2-inch display, as seen in the EX90,

03:07and provides all relevant information clearly and concisely.

03:10Prices start at 79,890 euros for the XC90 B5 and top out at 94,890 euros for the top-of-the-line XC90 T8 AWD model.
