Thousands of Palmeiras fans rallied in celebration ahead of the Copa Libertadores semifinal return leg against Ecuador's side LDU Quito on Thursday.
Footage shows supporters gathering outside the team's academy in Sao Paulo, chanting, waving flags, and lighting flares before launching fireworks as the team bus departed for the home stadium, Allianz Parque.
"Explaining what it means to be a Palmeiras fan to those who aren't is impossible! And for those who are, it's unnecessary!" shared a fan.
"It's a monstrous energy, a connection between the fans and the love for the club, so it's something unique. Only those who have witnessed it, who have experienced it, will know what it's like," he continued.
Others expressed high hopes for Abel Ferreira's side to pull through to the final, despite a 3-0 defeat in the first leg in Quito last week.
Palmeiras thrilled their fans with a dominant 4-0 win, as Raphael Veiga netted twice and Bruno Fuchs and Ramon Sosa added goals to secure a spot in this year's Copa Libertadores final.
The remarkable comeback on Thursday also marks the team's first return to the final since their 2021 victory.
Palmeiras will aim to secure their 4th Copa Libertadores trophy when they face fellow Brazilian club Flamengo on November 29 in Lima's Estadio Monumental. The club had previously won the tournament three times in 1999, 2020, and 2021.
