00:00Hello on the Tuning Blog channel.
00:04Today I'm back with a product presentation of an e-bike, and I'll say it again.
00:11A lot of people have had Elglyad pre-bikes recently.
00:15This is another one.
00:18It's a pretty current one, the C First Stover, as it's called because you can step over it so nicely.
00:24And, um, it's an e-bike, and there's a very extensive blog article about it.
00:32It's got all the technical data, including my riding impressions.
00:36Yes, everything you need to know, I'd say.
00:40That's why this is a relatively short video to repeat the key data,
00:44and anything else you want to know, you'd best just read the blog article.
00:50Um, it's a bike that's not necessarily for off-road use,
00:54but I've been riding here for a while now and it actually works pretty well.
00:59Um, the bikes have a good size for it.
01:03They're 27 inches, so 27.5 inches is that, and I think the tires are 2.25 inches.
01:10They actually work well on trails like this, but are of course designed for asphalt and the like.
01:17The highlight is definitely that it has a mid-engine, and a nonder, if I'm pronouncing that correctly.
01:24It's a 250-watt motor with 70 Nm of torque and has an integrated battery.
01:34The compartment is still open here, right?
01:36So you can put the charger in here.
01:38So, now it's closed.
01:40Um, exactly.
01:42It's actually a pretty slim bike, I think.
01:44It looks good and is really easy to ride, so simple, right?
01:51I think I had one of those 4-wheel drive bikes 2 weeks ago.
01:55Very, very cool, an incredible amount of power, but it weighs over 40 kilograms,
02:00and you notice it no matter how much power you have.
02:02You notice it when steering, you notice it on paths like this, and of course,
02:06something like this is a whole lot easier to ride, in my opinion.
02:11What else is there to say?
02:12The front wheel is basically delivered assembled.
02:15You just add a few small things, like the rear reflector.
02:19That still needs to be attached.
02:21I think the pedals are attached, the front wheel is installed, and the saddle is put on,
02:25which is incredibly comfortable, by the way.
02:28I wouldn't have thought so.
02:30Usually, you can't say much about the front wheels themselves,
02:33but often the saddle is like a hard piece of board, but yeah, it's not that great at all.
02:39So it's a very, very cool saddle.
02:40You can really stand on it for a long time.
02:42Then the handlebars, with multiple adjustments.
02:46It has hydraulic suspension at the front, which you can open and close, right over here.
02:52You can see a Seabang Shimano gear system, as far as you can see.
02:57It's not exactly the highest-end rear derailleur.
02:59The Shimano Tony was the one here to begin with, that's what it was,
03:04by the way and it wasn't set up completely correctly to begin with either.
03:08So if you decide on the bike and get it delivered, try out the gears to see if they're right.
03:13You can adjust them pretty easily.
03:15It's pretty easy, but it's not like things are delivered working 100% straight away.
03:19At least that's how it was for me.
03:22Um, yes, what else is there to say?
03:24There's the typical display with 5, moment, is that getting sharp, can you see it?
03:29With 5 support levels, and then a battery indicator.
03:33Yes, everything that a simple display like that can do, I'd say, isn't rocket science.
03:37All the necessary information is on it.
03:39What always bothers me a bit about displays is that I don't know how it works.
03:43Um, it's often the case that when you ride uphill, the battery power drops incredibly quickly.
03:49If you ride back on the straight, it goes back up again.
03:52That's one point of criticism that I included in my blog post.
03:56It's a bit annoying in places and, yes, confusing, I'd say, because when you're further away from home you always get a bad feeling when you're riding.
04:05So, that might be something for the manufacturer or the many manufacturers.
04:09Let's put it this way, to please install realistic displays that don't fluctuate.
04:14There are also hydraulic disc brakes at the front and rear, right?
04:20You can see that here.
04:23They actually have decent braking power.
04:25It was a bit loud in the wet, I've noticed.
04:27The video is a bit wet.
04:28I managed to get through it now and then.
04:30The wheels are dry now, but yes, it made a few strange noises now and then, but that's fine.
04:34Okay, apart from that you could say it's suitable, I think you can ride it from 170 meters down to around 2 meters.
04:42Everything can be adjusted.
04:43The handlebars can be angled too.
04:44It's actually pretty cool.
04:46It's road legal, which is important, right?
04:48Up to 25 kilometers per hour.
04:50You can weigh 120 kilograms and yes, it has an IPX5 standard as far as water resistance is concerned.
04:58Um, price-wise.
04:59I'll include a link for you, both in the blog post and here in the article description of the video further down or top right or I don't know where it says on YouTube.
05:09Um, it's around 12.50, if I remember the law, up to 13.50.
05:14It depends a bit.
05:16I think there are a few accessories too.
05:18Um, every now and then there are a few promotions.
05:20I think there's one now too.
05:22It's best to take a look for yourself by clicking on the link, but just so you have a rough idea of the price.
05:26It won't be more expensive than the total, probably cheaper depending on the offer.
05:31Exactly.
05:33Okay, 5 minutes of chatting about an e-bike.
05:36Um, I hope I covered all the essential information.
05:39As for the rest, as I said, just read the blog post.
05:43And yes, if that helped you make your decision, I'd appreciate it if you'd subscribe again so I can test and introduce you to more great things like this.
05:52I'd be delighted, and see you in the next video.
