00:00Welcome to the exciting video from Tuning Blog about the brand new Canon Pulse Electric Motorcycle.

00:17The Canadian company BRP, known as Bombard Recreational Products, is bringing a breath of fresh air to the e-motorcycle market with the Canon Pulse in its sister model Origin.
00:26These two impressive models are set to hit the market as early as 2025 and will shake up the electric motorcycle segment.
00:38With an output of 35 kilowatts, which is 48 horsepower, and a top speed of an impressive 129 kilometers per hour, the Pulse delivers plenty of power on the road.
00:47The Canon Pulse is primarily aimed at urban environments and is equipped with a road-oriented 17-inch chassis and a practical glove compartment.
01:02Particularly exciting for many beginners, there will also be a version with 11 kilowatts, which is perfect for A1 license holders or BN96 aspirants.
01:10Despite the reduced power, speed and acceleration are hardly affected.
01:17The Pulse can accelerate from 0 to 100 kilometers per hour in just 3.8 seconds.
01:24That's an impressive statement in this segment and guarantees pure riding pleasure.
01:30The Canon Pulse relies on the newly developed 8.9 kilowatt-hour lithium-ion battery, which is developed and produced by the BRP specialists in Canada.
01:38According to the WMTC Cycle, the range is around 115 kilometers, although realistic everyday values promise just over 100 kilometers.
01:50The battery is not only powerful, but also innovatively designed.
01:55Liquid cooling ensures stable performance, even at high outside temperatures, such as those that can prevail in Texas at over 44 degrees Celsius.
02:03The constantly operating water pump prevents excessive heat development and extends the service life of the battery thanks to better cooling.
02:14Can-Am therefore promises a long battery life.
02:18Even after 5 years, it should still have at least 70% of its capacity.
02:22A special highlight of the pull is the three-stage engine braking system, which allows the driver to regenerate the battery while coasting or even by actively controlling it via the throttle.
02:34This recovers energy, which can lead to a slightly extended range, especially on longer journeys.
02:43When the battery needs to be charged, this can be done very easily using a Manicus Type 2 plug, which is widely available at European charging stations.
02:52The battery can be charged from 20-80% within 50 minutes, ideal for the daily commute or spontaneous trips at the weekend.
03:04The Can-Impulse also scores points with its sophisticated features, which particularly appeal to tech-savvy drivers.
03:10With a 10.25-inch TFT display that supports Apple CarPlay, an integrated touchscreen and a practical gearshift for easy maneuvering, it offers everything your heart desires.
03:26The vehicle is also equipped with backlit switches, a USB port in the glove compartment and a clever link system that allows various accessories to be attached without any tools.
03:36For an electric motorcycle of this type, the Pulse offers a great deal of riding comfort.
03:44The KWB fork and the Saks Spring Strut ensure a pleasant and stable ride on a wide variety of surfaces.
03:52It even masters tight bends and long radii with ease and can be steered comfortably and safely, even at high speeds.
03:59If things get too fast on bumpy surfaces, the traction control ensures that too much torque on the rear wheel is gently regulated.
04:10The ABS system intervenes late in the sporty process, so that deceleration always remains controlled and efficient.
04:19The Can-Pulse impressively demonstrates that electromobility has long since reached the motorcycle segment and can impress with smart, practical solutions.
04:29However, the purchase price is around €17,000, which many prospective buyers will probably still have to weigh up.
04:38But for those who value innovative technology, sustainability and lots of riding fun, the Pulse is certainly an interesting offer.

04:52Thank you.
