00:00Welcome to the Tuning Blog video about the new Porsche Mackin 4S Electric.
00:10Today, it's all about Porsche's latest electric SUV, which aims to prove that even an electric
00:16car can have true Porsche DNA in terms of performance and driving pleasure. If you

00:27exciting content. Porsche has made a bold decision with the Mackin Electric. After almost a million
00:34units with combustion engines sold, the popular SUV is now only available as an all-electric
00:40model. Diehard Porsche fans in particular will have to get used to the fact that the iconic
00:46sound of the petrol engines has given way to the gentle hum of the electric motors. But don't worry,
00:52the new Mackin is still a real sports car, at least in terms of performance data.
00:58The Mackin 4S Electric boasts an impressive 516 horsepower and a whopping 820 Nm of torque.
01:06This even surpasses its predecessor, the GTS, which only delivered 440 horsepower and 550 Nm of torque.
01:14Of course, the new Mackin also has a few disadvantages when compared to its predecessor.
01:19The combustion engine pulls ahead at a top speed of 275 km per hour, while the Mackin Electric stops at
01:27240 km per hour. However, such speeds are rarely achievable on our roads anyway.
01:35Much more important is the handling in everyday life, and here the Mackin impresses across the board.
01:42Thanks to its air suspension, the new rear axle steering and the powerful acceleration out of
01:47bends, the typical Porsche driving experience is retained. The Mackin effortlessly manages to
01:53impress its passengers both on the motorway and in city traffic. But the Mackin wouldn't be a true
02:00SUV if it couldn't hold its own off-road. Thanks to all-wheel drive and robust technology,
02:08the Porsche also masters steep inclines, gravel paths and even puddles of water without
02:13endangering the electric motor. This makes the Mackin a versatile companion that cuts a fine figure
02:20both off-road and on-road. Charging the Macan is also surprisingly fast.
02:28With a range of around 600 km and the ability to charge the battery from 10% to 80% in just 21 minutes,
02:35the Moran proves that long charging brakes are a thing of the past.
02:41A short stop of 10 minutes is enough to refuel for another 100 km. Ideal for those who travel a lot.
02:50In terms of design, the electric Mackin remains true to its sporty lines, but sets new accents.
02:57The steeply sloping hood, the pronounced fenders and the coupe-like rear end give the vehicle a modern
03:03and aerodynamic appearance. Inside, drivers can expect a high-quality and contemporary ambience
03:10that seamlessly ties in with Porsche's premium image. Despite all the advantages, it remains to be
03:16seen whether die-hard Porsche fans, who have previously relied on powerful combustion engines,
03:22will embrace the switch to electromobility. Although charging brakes have become significantly shorter,
03:28they still require a rethink, especially for those who are still skeptical about electromobility.
