00:00Welcome to the video from the Car Magazine Tuning Blog.
00:03Today it's all about the Škoda NAC RS facelift in the particularly striking Mamba Green variant.
00:12Škoda has now extended the NAC facelift to the sporty RS version, both the classic SUV and the coupe variant.
00:20In this article, we focus exclusively on the SUV model.
00:24Visually, a lot has changed.
00:26The new design is based on the modern solid philosophy, which ensures a cleaner and more technical look.
00:35The familiar radiator grille has disappeared completely and has been replaced by a high-gloss black element that now houses the sensors for the assistance systems.
00:45The air intake in the front apron has grown.
00:49The brand logo has been removed and replaced with the new Škoda lettering.
00:53The lighting has also been revised.
00:55The now significantly slimmer LED matrix headlights consist of four small and two larger light segments on each side.
01:03The taillights remain visually similar but feature animated dynamic indicators as standard.
01:08A lighting display when arriving or leaving the vehicle is only available for an additional charge.
01:16The aerodynamics have also been improved.
01:19The drag coefficient has been reduced to 0.251.
01:22This is helped, among other things, by the redesigned wheels with aerodynamic covers.
01:30The NJRS comes standard with 20-inch rims, while 21-inch wheels are available as an option.
01:35Standard equipment also includes tinted windows in the front area, black body details, and all color options from the NAG range, including the RS-exclusive Mamba green paint finish.
01:48Škoda is introducing two new design lines inside.
01:52The sportier RS lounge variant combines microfiber with synthetic leather and lime green contrast stitching, while the RS suit offers real and synthetic leather combined with gray embroidery.
02:04Both variants are equipped with carbon-style decorative inlays.
02:10The three-spoke steering wheel is covered in perforated leather as standard.
02:15Behind the steering wheel is a 5-inch driver display that provides all important driving information.
02:23In the center of the dashboard is a 13-inch touchscreen that displays all infotainment functions and specific RS graphics.
02:30The front seats are heated sports seats as standard.
02:37The driver's seat has a massage function and a memory function.
02:41To get the same features for the passenger seat, the MAX package must be booked separately.
02:48Those opting for the advanced package also get a head-up display with augmented reality content and a Canton sound system with 12 speakers.
02:55Three-zone automatic climate control, stainless steel pedals, four USB-C ports with up to 45 watts of power each, and a wireless smartphone charging cradle are standard.
03:08In terms of drivetrain, everything remains the same.
03:10The revised NJRS uses the familiar all-wheel drive with one motor each on the front and rear axles.
03:19The front motor produces a maximum of 102 horsepower, the rear motor up to 286 horsepower.
03:25The combined system output is 340 horsepower, while the maximum torque is 679 newton meters.
03:35This allows the sporty SUV to sprint from 0 to 100 kilometers per hour in just 5.4 seconds.
03:41The battery has a gross capacity of 84 kilowatts hours.
03:46This gives the NJRS SUV a range of up to 560 kilometers according to the WLTP.
03:53Charging at a fast charging station with direct current is possible with a maximum output of 185 kilowatts.
04:00This allows the charge level to be increased from 10 to 80 percent in just 26 minutes.
04:0611 kilowatts is possible when charging with alternating current.
04:10The driving dynamics have also been revised.
04:13A lowered chassis, direct steering, and adapted driving modes are intended to enhance the driving experience.
04:22Those opting for the optional adaptive suspension benefit from new dampers with 15 adjustable firmness settings.
04:30The front brake system is equipped with more powerful two-piston calipers.
04:35A sporty engine sound can be adjusted via the infotainment system.
04:38The maximum towing capacity is 1400 kilogram.
04:43The travel assist 2.6 is standard for driver assistance.
04:49For an additional charge, this can be expanded to include an intelligent parking assistant, which also supports remote-controlled parking maneuvers.
04:56The navigation system uses swarm data from the cloud to detect danger spots, traffic jams, or slippery road sections early on and react automatically.
05:06It's not yet officially known when the updated Shkoda-to-suv will arrive at dealerships.
05:16There's also no concrete information on prices yet.
05:19However, a slight increase is to be expected.
05:23The previous model started at around 61,000 euros.
