Ein weiteres Highlight ist das XKGlow-Lichtsystem, das nicht nur die Fußräume, Sitze und Staufächer beleuchtet, sondern sich auch per App steuern lässt. Farben, Strobe-Effekte und Musik-Synchronisation – alles ist möglich! Dazu gibt’s ein 7-Zoll-Ride-Command-Display mit Apple CarPlay. 00:41the model has secured a firm place in a niche segment and has remained successful on the market to this day.
00:47The Slingshot is classified as a motorcycle in some countries and as an auto cycle in others.
00:52Now Polaris is expanding its model range with a new special variant, the Slingshot 10.
01:00This model was developed to mark the 10th anniversary of the series and pursues two clear goals.
01:08To pay homage to the iconic three-wheeler and at the same time present a new dream version for fans of the vehicle.
01:14The Slingshot 10 is based on the most powerful air version and therefore adopts all the key mechanical and technical components.
01:25Under the hood, the proven Prosta 2.0 L four-cylinder engine continues to operate,
01:30which is coupled to a five-speed manual transmission.
01:33The output is the same as the air model, 204 horsepower and 203 newton meters of torque.
01:41The top speed is 2,011 kilometers per hour, with Polaris using an electronic limiter.
01:49What really sets the Slingshot 10 apart, however,
01:52are exclusive design features and equipment details that are not available in any other version.
01:57The most striking feature is the paintwork in Radiant Red Pearl,
02:01a homage to the original Slingshot Red from 10 years ago.
02:07This color is complemented by accents in metallic black, white and, in addition,
02:12subtle graphics and a special emblem on the hood, the rear fin area and the wheel hubs.
02:18Five-spoke Hanyam rims in high-gloss black provide the sporty look.
02:24Behind it, Polaris has installed a powerful four-piston Brembo brake system to ensure control over the vehicle.

02:36The Slingshot 10 features limited-edition heated and ventilated seats,
02:40which are enhanced with special 10th anniversary embroidery in the headrests.
02:46The color scheme of the steering wheel, instrument cluster and glove box matches the design of the seats.
02:52Another highlight is the Rockford ForceGate Stage 3 Max audio system.
02:59With 300 watts, it offers the highest volume and the most powerful bars ever in a Slingshot.
03:06The sound comes from speakers integrated into the headrests as well as 8-inch side speakers.
03:11The system also features automatic volume control and an expandable plug-and-play amplifier.
03:18The XK Glow lighting system, which has been integrated into the Slingshot 10's equipment, provides the right light show.
03:26It not only highlights the speaker grills, but also illuminates the footwells, the underside of the seats, the side storage compartments and the center console.
03:38The lighting is controlled via the Slingshot LED app, which allows two separate lighting zones to be individually adjusted.
03:46Users can choose from preset color patterns, activate strobe effects, synchronize the lighting with the music or save personal settings.
03:58The technological centerpiece is Polaris' well-known write command system.
04:05It includes a 7-inch display that shows navigation information and enables connection to Apple CarPlay.
04:10Polaris describes the Slingshot 10 as the most exclusive limited edition in the model series.
04:19The vehicle can already be ordered from Polaris dealers, with the starting price being around €36,000.
04:26This makes the Slingshot 10 around €3,700 more expensive than the Air Vion on which it is based.
04:33By comparison, the basic S version costs around €23,000.
04:36While the SL and SLR models are priced at around €26,100 and €29,000, respectively.
04:48Anyone who wants to secure a Slingshot 10 should hurry, because Polaris explicitly states that it is a limited edition, but does not reveal exactly how many units will be produced.
