00:00Welcome to the new video from the Car Magazine Tuning Blog.
00:03This time, it's all about the Yangon U9, the electric hypercar from the BYD subsidiary brand,
00:10which impresses with its breathtaking technology and futuristic design.
00:15It's important to note that the vehicle in the video is not the recently launched track edition of the U9,
00:21but rather the regular production version.
00:24Visually, however, the two models are unlikely to differ much,
00:28as the differences are more limited to technical and aerodynamic details.
00:33The spectacular track edition was recently upgraded by the Chinese Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and,
00:40according to the Met, is said to offer a system output of over 3,000 horsepower,
00:45thanks to four electric motors, each delivering 754 horsepower.
00:52This significantly surpasses the production model,
00:55which is only rated at around 1,300 horsepower.
01:00The standard model accelerates to 100 kilometers per hour in just 2.6 seconds
01:06and reaches a top speed of over 300 kilometers per hour.
01:12So you can imagine the performance potential of the track edition.
01:15Even though the UN in the video is not the more powerful track version,
01:21it still offers an exciting preview of what BYD is planning with the Young Wong label in the future.
01:28Particularly striking about the track edition are a striking red paint job,
01:32an even larger rear wing in GT3 style and rims that may be made of particularly lightweight magnesium.
01:38In addition, there are optional aerodynamic parts such as an optimized front splitter made of carbon
01:45and an electrically adjustable rear spoiler.
01:48All clearly in the service of maximum performance on the racetrack.
01:52However, the special model has not yet been officially confirmed.
01:56It also remains unclear at what price it will be offered,
02:01how many units it will be produced and whether it will ever come to Europe, let alone Germany.
02:08Given the technology and exclusivity,
02:10the price is likely to be around 700,000 euros or more.
02:16All further information on the topic and of course the link to the full article
02:20can be found in the video description as always.
