00:30After years of development and continuous progress, the Take-In Turbo GT has mastered the elusive time of sub-2 seconds from 0 to 100 kilometers per hour.
00:43With a breathtaking acceleration of 1.9 seconds and an impressive power output of 1,092 horsepower, this vehicle sets new standards in the automotive industry.

01:00Back in 2008, the Bugatti Veyron, with its four turbochargers and 1,001 horsepower, reached the 100 kilometers per hour mark in 2.5 seconds.
01:11At the time, this was an impressive achievement, but the world of high-performance cars was still in its infancy.
01:17In 2015, Porsche launched the 918 Spyder, which reduced the time to 2.1 seconds, sparking debate over whether a sub-2-second sprint was realistic.
01:28Since then, technological innovations and the electrification of vehicles have continued to drive the automotive world forward.
01:38The 986-horsepower Ferrari SF90 plug-in hybrid takes exactly 2 seconds to accelerate from 0 to 62 miles per hour.
01:50Electric sedans like the Tesla Model S and the Lucid Air Sapphire have proven that electric powertrains can compete with traditional hypercars, both achieving times of 2.1 seconds.
02:00However, Porsche's Taken Turbo GT has made the ultimate breakthrough, not only reaching this milestone but surpassing it with an impressive acceleration of 1.9 seconds.
02:12It's important to note the conditions under which this record was set.
02:20The test conducted by CarDriver involved a four-seater version of the Taken Turbo GT weighing 2.36 tons.
02:30Unlike lighter, stripped-down variants like the YSAC package version, which saves around 75 kilograms, this model was fully equipped and ran on Pirelli Pizzero Trofeo RS tires.
02:42During initial runs, the car's launch control system, which is activated by selecting Sport Plus Mode, disabling Stability Control, and holding down both pedals, exhibited slight traction issues.
02:56These early tests showed a slight amount of tire spin as it searched for grip.
03:02However, once the tires had warmed up sufficiently, the Taken Turbo GT consistently delivered breathtaking performance.
03:09This performance is all the more remarkable given that the test was conducted on a standard concrete surface, rather than a specially prepared drag strip.
03:23Despite the less-than-ideal conditions, the Taken Turbo GT demonstrated exceptional performance,
03:28with an average 0-100 km per hour acceleration time calculated from two runs, 1.898 seconds in one direction and 1.910 seconds in the other.
03:42The Taken's dominance is particularly evident in the sprint from 0-100 km per hour.
03:48However, as the speed increases, the competitors begin to close the gap.
03:52The Taken completed the quarter-mile in 9.3 seconds at 240 km per hour, putting it on par with the Lucid Air Sapphire with 1,234 horsepower,
04:04while beating the Tesla Model S plate with 1,020 horsepower by a tenth of a second.
04:09At higher speeds, however, the Taken begins to fall behind slightly, as it has less horsepower and fewer electric motors than the Sapphire.
04:22The Lucid Air Sapphire overtook the Taken by 0.7 seconds at 250 km per hour and extended its lead to 1.1 seconds at 270 km per hour.
04:32Where the Taken really shines, however, is in its braking and handling.
04:41The vehicle achieved the shortest braking distances among its competitors,
04:45coming to a stop from 110 km per hour in 43 meters and from 160 km per hour in 83 meters.
04:54Its cornering capabilities are equally impressive.
04:56With an average lateral acceleration of 1.08 on the skid plate, it even outperforms the Lucid Air Sapphire and matches the Tesla Model S plate.
05:10This test highlights the Taken Turbo GT's unique balance of speed, precision and usability.
05:18Although it lags slightly behind its competitors at extreme speeds,
05:21it sets new standards in terms of acceleration, handling and overall performance.
05:26A general rule of thumb in the automotive world is that reducing a car's curb weight by 45 kg can shave a tenth of a second off a car's 0-100 acceleration time.
05:42With that in mind, a lighter version of the Taken Turbo GT, such as one equipped with the YSAC package,
05:48could achieve an even more astonishing time of 1.8 seconds.
05:52This historic achievement by the Taken Turbo GT, backed up by car and driver's rigorous testing,
