US President Donald Trump said Taiwan “never came up” in his talks with Chinese President Xi Jinping in Busan, South Korea. Trump announced a deal to lower US tariffs in exchange for China resuming US soybean purchases, ending export controls on rare earth minerals and cracking down on the illegal trade in fentanyl. He also said he would visit China in April, with Xi set to travel to Washington at a later date.
