After US President Donald Trump and Chinese President Xi Jinping met in South Korea, both sides reported progress on a trade deal. Washington will cut tariffs in exchange for continued access to China's rare earth minerals, more purchases of US agricultural products and help fighting the spread of fentanyl. Trump also said Taiwan did not come up in the talks.
