00:00Welcome to our latest video from the Car Magazine Tuning Blog, where we introduce you to the brand
00:12new Audi RS6 GT from 2024. This strictly limited special edition takes the legendary 6 rupees to
00:19a whole new level and offers enthusiasts an impressive package of performance, design and
00:24exclusive details. Audi is celebrating the 6 rupees in style with the GT model and showing that it is
00:33more than just stickers and a limited production run. With fine ingredients such as carbon parts,
00:39a coilover suspension and special shell seats, the RS6 GT sets new standards for small series vehicles.
00:45About three years ago, the engineers from Ingolstadt presented the GO Concept,
00:49a hardcore version of the RSX, at the 40th anniversary of Quadro GmbH. Now, after several
00:57years of further development, the RS6 GT has finally become a reality. Compared to the wild GTO Concept,
01:04the RS6 GT may seem a bit toned down, but next to the 6 rupees performance it exudes a much more
01:10extreme and beefy presence. This is not only due to the striking foiling, which pays homage to the
01:17Audi 90 IMSA GTO, but above all to the new components that were specially developed for
01:22this exclusive small series. The devil is in the details with the RS6 GT, and many of these details
01:29are only noticeable at second glance. The entire front section of the RS6 GT has been completely
01:36redesigned. The single frame radiator grille is completely blackened and 2 cm flatter, which gives
01:42the vehicle a wider and more aggressive look. The vertical blades in the apron and the new air
01:49intake grille are almost invisible, while the new front lip adds the finishing touch to the overall
01:54look. A special highlight is the carbon bonnet, which not only impresses visually, but also reduces
02:02the weight of the vehicle. With a curb weight of 2075 kg, which is 15 kg less than the 6 rupees
02:11performance, the difference may seem small, but the visual impact is enormous.
02:18Two visible carbon strips remain uncovered and give the bonnet a sporty touch.
02:24The fenders are also new and made of high-quality material.
02:26If you take a closer look, you can see the carbon structure in the air outlets, which not only looks
02:33good, but is also functional, as it reduces the pressure in the wheel arches.
02:40Exclusive to the special model, there are solid 22-inch forged rims with 6 spokes,
02:45which are available in tire size 285Z0R22.
02:49For the GTO homage look, the wheels can be ordered in white, but only in combination with
02:57the exterior color Akona white and the corresponding foiling in Audi sport colors.
03:04Those who prefer something more subtle can opt for a foil package with gray accents,
03:08which is available in the colors natto gray or mytho black metallic and keeps the rims in black.
03:12For those who prefer something even more inconspicuous, there is the option of ordering the GT without
03:20stickers in the five exterior colors Akona white, natto gray, mythos black metallic,
03:25Kronos gray metallic and Madeira brown metallic.
03:30Carbon inserts for the side skirts and mirror caps and visible carbon are included as standard,
03:35which lends the vehicle an even more exclusive touch.
03:37A first for the RS6 GT is the elimination of roof rails, which may seem unspectacular at first glance,
03:45but makes a significant difference in practice.
03:50The silhouette of the GT appears sportier and more streamlined as the roof merges into a double
03:55wing that is almost identical to that of the GTO concept.
04:02In addition, the trunk lid has been visually lowered by an additional element and the diffuser is less
04:06curved and has a central reflector.
04:11The two oval tailpipes remain positioned on the outside, which may be a slight disappointment for
04:16some, as the spectacular side pipes of the GTO concept unfortunately did not pass the technical
04:21inspection. A number of compromises had to be made in the interior of the RS6 GT.
04:28A family estate without a rear seat with a full cage and sparse carbon shell seats would probably
04:33be too extreme for most Audi customers.
04:38That's why Audi decided not to skimp on the GT's practical capabilities, but to give it more
04:43sportiness and exclusivity in the interior.
04:48This is achieved through the extensive use of dynamics on the dashboard, door panels, steering wheel,
04:54roof lining and trim strips, which are boldly accentuated with red and copper-colored stitching.
04:58The real highlight are the RS bucket seats, which are familiar from other models such as the 3 Rupees,
05:07but have been specially refined for the RS6 GT.
05:12With a red quilted honeycomb pattern and RS6 GT lettering below the headrests,
05:16these seats offer real bucket seats for the first time in a C8 generation 6 Rupees.
05:21They not only offer excellent lateral support, but also a decent level of residual comfort,
05:28making them a real highlight.
05:32The excellent quality of the interior is rounded off with seat belts in camouflage
05:36red and a sequential numbering in the center console.
05:40A total of 660 examples of the RS6 GT are to be produced, which underlines the exclusivity of this
05:46model. But what about the performance? The RS6 GT is powered by a 4-liter V8 biturbo engine that
05:55delivers 630 horsepower and 850 Nm of torque. This engine is undoubtedly impressive and offers
06:04first-class performance that leaves little to be desired. If it weren't for the RS6 performance,
06:09which offers exactly the same power output. For such an exclusive and expensive special model,
06:16Audi could have easily squeezed a few more HP out of the V8. For example, 30 additional horsepower
06:23would be in keeping with the limited production run. This would not only have increased the prestige
06:28of the model, but would also have justified the title of most powerful 6 Rupees. The RS6 Goonzip from
06:362020 was even more extreme than the GT, as it was equipped with no rear seat and side pipes,
06:41which, however, made it too extreme for road traffic. The RS6 GT therefore had to make some
06:49compromises in order to find a balance between extremes and everyday usability. Nevertheless,
06:55the performance of the RS6 GT is impressive. Thanks to optimized shift times for the 8-speed automatic
07:03transmission, the GT accelerates from 0 to 100 km per hour in 3.2 seconds and reaches the 200 km per
07:10hour mark in 11 and 12 seconds, while the RS6 performance manages this in 3.5 and 12 seconds
07:16respectively. The electronic speed limiter ensures that the GT does not exceed a top speed of 305 km
07:26per hour. The familiar carbon ceramic brake, which is included in the special model at no extra charge,
07:32ensures proper deceleration. Another highlight of the RS6 GT is the exclusive coilover suspension.
07:41The GT comes as standard and exclusively with a coilover suspension that is lowered by 10 mm at
07:46the factory and can be adjusted manually. Three-way adjustable dampers and stiffer anti-roll bars are
07:53installed. 30% at the front and 80% at the rear. According to Audi, this ensures less bank
07:59movement without compromising comfort. On request, the GT can also be equipped with the familiar RS
08:06sports suspension or air suspension, although this somewhat dilutes the basic idea of the special model.
08:12As befits an exclusive special model, the production of the GT is also extremely complex.
08:17The bodywork and paintwork are done in Solzbach, while final assembly takes place by hand at the
08:25Bollinger HOFA plant, the location where the R8 and the Eaton GT are also built.
08:33This elaborate production process and the high-quality parts designed especially for the special model
08:38explain the high price of €229,355, which makes the GT around €85,000 more expensive than a basic RS6
08:47performance. Audi is definitely going all in here, also in terms of price, to create a truly exclusive
08:55and desirable model. In summary, it can be said that the Audi RS6 GT is an impressive example of modern
09:03sportiness and exclusivity. With its limited production run, high-quality materials and meticulous
09:11workmanship, it sets new standards in the world of high-performance vehicles.
09:17Despite the fact that the performance has remained unchanged compared to the RS6 performance,
09:22the GT offers a unique combination of design, exclusivity and driving pleasure,
09:27which should make it a sought-after collector's item.

09:38such exciting insights, then leave a subscription and always stay up to date with the latest trends
