Palace: BTA to remain as legitimate BARMM government until 2026 elections

The Office of the President has reaffirmed that the Bangsamoro Transition Authority (BTA) will continue to serve as the legitimate governing body of the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM) following the Supreme Court’s decision postponing the regional elections to no later than March 31, 2026.
