00:00I don't know how long it's been.
00:03Oh my god! Oh my god! Oh my god! Oh my god!
00:05But I woke up actually feeling like the worst I've ever felt.
00:09Do like one little throw up and then like 30 minutes of non-stop puking.
00:14I just want this feeling to go away.
00:16Caitlin's life flipped upside down when she found out she was pregnant at 18 years old.
00:20I knew I was pregnant. Even after taking the plan B, it was kind of like,
00:23okay, this is happening. I probably bought like $200 worth of tests.
00:26In the moment, it is such a lonely feeling.
00:28She did not plan to have a baby at such a young age.
00:31Finding out you're pregnant at 19 definitely isn't like an exciting time unless you're planning for the baby.
00:35Usually people won't congratulate you when you tell them a lot of concern and a lot of like first like,
00:41ooh, what are you planning to do reactions.
00:44I never got a congratulations, this is so exciting, like you're gonna do so good.
00:48Obviously, it was not planned by me. It took me a few weeks to even congratulate myself.
00:53They're getting me flimaged right now, I guess, to help my headache.
00:56It's time. Let's go have a baby.
00:58She was terrified, uncertain of the complications she was about to face.
01:01Apparently, I'm one centimeter dilated.
01:04I'm having contractions every two and a half minutes, but they're not that strong.
01:07It's 622. I've been here about three and a half hours.
01:11Got the epidural. They checked my cervix. I'm three centimeters.
01:15I'm still feeling my contractions. She's still sunny side up.
01:18So she was like doubling down on contractions.
01:20She was like contracting me twice before giving me like a 20 second break and then doing it again.
01:25Only 5% of pregnancies have the baby facing sunny side up, but there was nothing she could do about that now.
01:30She had given birth to a beautiful baby girl and now had to adapt to life as a mom at 19.
01:46I know I'm only 19 and definitely this is not ideal.
01:49I am in a position now where I feel better when it comes to financially supporting her.
01:54I do think that I would be able to give her what I believe to be a perfect life.
01:58Knowing that she will be loved and nurtured and have a safe and happy home is what I think is perfect.
02:04And I will be able to give that to her.
02:06She took a Plan B pill to prevent the pregnancy, but it failed.
02:09So she has advice for women in a similar position.
02:11Plan B pill does not the baby.
02:14If you're already pregnant, by the time you take a Plan B pill, it's not going to harm your baby.
02:18I took one. I puked. I still got pregnant. My baby is fine.
02:22It just stops the fertilizing with the egg.
02:25You need to take it at the most 72 hours after you've had some.
02:29If you take it after, it's just not going to work. It's not an abortion pill.
02:33If you're ovulating, do not waste the $57 on a Plan B. It will not work.
02:37This one is what happened to me.
02:39If you puke between two hours after taking the pill, you have to get another one.
02:43You can still take another Plan B after those two hours if you puked.
02:47But if you puke and then you don't get another Plan B, you likely just puked up the Plan B pill.
02:53Nobody knows when the perfect time to have a baby is.
02:56But Caitlin proves that with enough love, you will always find a way.
