Watch out Rice Krispies Treats, there’s a new cereal dessert in town. In this video, Nicole makes five-ingredient corn flakes butterfinger bars with melted chocolate, peanut butter, and crushed corn flakes! Like the perfect marriage between breakfast and dessert, these baked goods are perfect for an after-school snack or as a gift for the holidays!

00:00We're turning cornflakes into Butterfinger bars.
00:02Start with 10 cups of crushed cornflakes in a bowl,
00:04and then on the stove top, combine one cup of sugar
00:07with one cup of light corn syrup and one cup of peanut butter.
00:09Stir that together and bring that mixture to a boil,
00:11then pour it over the cereal.
00:12Give that a good stir and then press it in the bottom
00:14of a nine by 13 buttered casserole dish.
00:16They're chewy with little bits of crunch in there.
00:18They're not overly sweet.
00:19This right here would make a perfect holiday gift.
00:22It's like a Rice Krispie Treat meets a Butterfinger,
00:24and I'm here for it.
