DOH firm against drunk driving

Health Assistant Secretary Albert Domingo tells the Manila Times on Oct. 29, 2025 that the Department of Health (DOH) reaffirms its stance on responsible alcohol consumption, reminding the public that road accidents caused by drunk driving are preventable. Health Secretary Teodoro Herbosa said drunk drivers would be excluded from the DOH's zero-balance billing if they got injured in a road accident due to intoxication.
