Najib named as main beneficiary in RM2.28bil 1MDB scandal, court told

The biggest beneficiary of the RM2.28bil misappropriated from 1Malaysia Development Bhd (1MDB) was Datuk Seri Najib Razak, the High Court heard on Wednesday (Oct 29).

The prosecution also argued that Najib's assertion of a Saudi Arabian donor was unsubstantiated and contradicted by evidence.
