00:22Under cross-examination by Deputy Public Prosecutor Kamal Baharin Omar, during the 2.28 billion
00:28ringgit-1 Malaysia Development Berhad-1 MDB trial in Putrajaya on Friday, Najib was questioned
00:34about his AmIslamic bank account ending in 694.
00:39He referred to four letters from Arab Royalty issued between February 1st, 2011 and June
00:451st, 2014, which promised donations amounting to 100 million US dollars, 375 million US
00:51dollars, 800 million US dollars and 50 million pound.
00:56All the letters were addressed to Najib's residence at Jalan Langgak Duta, Kuala Lumpur.
01:01On October 30th, the High Court ordered Najib to enter his defense on four counts of using
01:06his position to secure 2.28 billion ringgit in gratification from 1MDB funds and 21 counts
01:13of money laundering involving the same amount.
01:16The trial continues on Monday before Justice Colin Lawrence Sequeira.
