Taiwan's foreign minister Lin Chia-lung expressed his gratitude to US President Donald Trump and Japanese Prime Minister Takaichi Sanae for their support of peace and stability in the Taiwan Strait. The two leaders held a summit in Tokyo, where they exchanged views about opposing any unilateral and forceful change to the status quo in the Taiwan Strait.
