00:08It's time for your Tuesday drive with Shun.
00:11He's been out of work since March after failing a roadside drug test.
00:15That had catastrophic consequences for my employment.
00:20The 54-year-old says he'd taken prescribed cannabis more than two days earlier for pain
00:25stemming from back surgery.
00:27100% certain I wasn't impaired.
00:29A report from last year's drug summit recommended a legal defence for people like Shun.
00:34But the government's not adopting it for now.
00:36It seems beyond unfair.
00:38Lives could be at risk.
00:39Our road toll is increasing.
00:42There are several jurisdictions around Australia looking at how to do it best and we'll have
00:47regard to all of those and we'll see if it's possible to come up with a scheme.
00:52Flat out rejected was a trial of no sniffer dogs and strip searches at music festivals.
00:57Even after the government lost a class action for unlawful strip searchers or festival goers.

01:28The government supports most of the 56 recommendations including developing a 10 year drug strategy and boosting funding of stretched services.
01:37The pill testing trial announced last year will continue through the summer.
01:41and the end of the year has been aimed at providing for the most sniffer dogs.
01:44Now the military did not go to the
01:50Cause of the first time there will be a high school.
01:50I think it's the only thing I'd like to be able to use right now.
01:51The military did not want to make the staff of the last country but I'm not sure it's the only thing I was doing.
01:52I think it's the only thing I can see.
01:53My kid is the thing I'm doing is the only thing I like to narrate to the 17th century, and in the past.
01:55I've been hearing from the public and I think it's the only thing I wanted to be able to do.
01:57And it was very much, I think it was probably not going to be the other kind of thing that was on the side, but that would be a clear sign of the time.
