00:04President Donald Trump has ruled out running for vice president in the 2028 election, calling such a plan too cute.

00:11The president spoke with reporters on Air Force One Sunday when he said Republicans have great for the job, per Fox News.

00:18Those great candidates, according to Trump, are Vice President J.D. Vance and Secretary of State Marco Rubio.

00:24He also called out any Democratic challenger, saying they had a low IQ.

00:31We have great people. I don't have to get into that.

00:34But we have one of them standing right here, the 79-year-old president said.

00:38We have J.D., obviously.

00:41The vice president is great. Marco is great, I think.

00:44I'm not sure if anybody would run against those.

00:47I think if they ever formed a group, it would be unstoppable.

00:51They have Jasmine Crockett, a low IQ person.

00:55They have AOC's representative, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, low IQ.

01:09They're really aptitude tests, I guess, in a certain way, but they're cognitive tests.

01:33they couldn't come close to answering any of those questions, Trump said.

01:37When asked, Trump said he would be allowed to seek the vice presidency,

01:40but said the plan was too cute.

01:42Is it the White House, or the White House Council, or your legal position, I guess,

01:47that you could do that?

01:48One reporter asked.

01:50You'd be allowed to do that, but I wouldn't do that.

01:53I think it's too cute, Trump said in response.

01:57Trump is currently on a 5-day tour through Asia,

02:03He is expected to meet with newly elected Prime Minister Sanai Takaichi in Tokyo Tuesday.
