00:00iPhone 17 debuts with 30-hour battery and new camera system.
00:04Apple has actually listened to our battery gripes.
00:08The iPhone 17 is here, and it's packing a battery that doesn't die before your work
00:12day does.
00:13We're talking 30 hours of video playback, a full 8 hours more than last year's iPhone
00:1816, which means you can binge an entire season of your favorite show and still have some
00:23juice left for doom scrolling.
00:25But the improvements go beyond just battery life.
00:28Apple finally upsized the display to 6.3 inches and threw in a silky smooth 120 hertz
00:33promotion panel.
00:35The refresh rate can drop all the way down to 1 hertz when you're reading or staring blankly
00:40at your notifications, so you'll save even more battery.
00:44It's also 3000 nits bright, so next time you're outdoors, your screen will still be visible.
00:49Under the hood, the new A19 chip is built on a 3 nanometer process with a beefy 16-core
00:54neural engine for all your AI-powered needs, even if that's just making your selfies look
00:59better.
01:00Speaking of selfies, the front camera jumped from 12 megapixels to 18 megapixels.
01:05On the back, you'll find the new dual-fusion camera system with 48 megapixel sensors for
01:10both main and ultra-wide cameras.
01:13Perhaps the biggest surprise, Apple doubled the base storage to 256 gigabytes, all while
01:19keeping the starting price at $799.
01:22Pre-orders for the iPhone 17 open on September 12th, with the phones arriving in stores and
01:27on your doorstep on September 19th.
01:30Color options include black, lavender, mist blue, sage, and white.
01:35If you've been waiting for a real reason to upgrade or just want a phone that actually
01:38lasts all day, this is probably it.
01:49May 14.
02:03If you're worried about this...
02:05There's nothing to do with this.
02:09All right.
