Filipino boxer excited to defend crown in 'Thrilla in Manila 2'

Filipino WBC strawweight champ Melvin Jerusalem says he's more excited than pressured to defend his crown against South African Siyakholwa Kuse in the main event of 'Thrilla in Manila 2' at the Araneta Coliseum on Oct. 28, 2025. The official weigh-in was also held on the same day with the 31-year-old Jerusalem and 22-year-old Kuse both weighing 104.8 pounds. Jerusalem sports a 24-3 win-loss card while Kuse stakes his 9-2-1 win-loss-draw slate in this event organized by Manny Pacquiao's MP Promotions.
