00:00The biggest result on Sunday,
00:03which was the Baltimore Ravens beating the Chicago Bears.
00:07The Ravens entered this game without Lamar Jackson
00:11for the third straight game.
00:13And a loss would have put them at one and six,
00:18considerably would have been like minus 250 range
00:22to miss the playoffs.
00:25Who knows if Lamar at that point says,
00:27yeah, Thursday night, let's salvage it.
00:30He may be saying, you know what, give me another week.
00:32Maybe.
00:34Instead, the Ravens are now, once again,
00:40favorites to win their division.
00:44Pittsburgh's loss, like you mentioned, we'll get into it.
00:47The disaster in Cincinnati, again, we'll get into it.
00:51But Baltimore, Joe, have completely saved
00:56any hope that they had in that building
01:00with their victory over the Chicago Bears 30-16 final.
01:04Man, it was surprising.
01:05We talked about it in the pregame prior leading up to the game
01:08that, you know, Baltimore went from a six and a half,
01:10seven point favorite with Lamar Jackson
01:12potentially implemented in that lineup
01:14to with Snoop Huntley, only a two and a half point favorite
01:17over a very hot team in Chicago.
01:19Chicago had won four straight by 7.7 points per game
01:23leading into that matchup on the flip side.
01:25Baltimore had lost four straight by 18.3 points per game.
01:29The offensive identity was a little bit tarnished
01:32because they couldn't run Derrick Henry each and every play.
01:36But they stepped up yesterday and on Sunday
01:39with a dynamic effort of a buck 77 on the ground.
01:42Snoop Huntley added 53 yards.
01:44They averaged 5.1 yards per rush.
01:47And they basically contained Chicago's offense
01:49from a defensive perspective to hold Chicago field goals
01:53and not touchdowns.
01:54And that's why they were able to pull it out.
01:56They held them to three field goal attempts
01:59on their first four drives.
02:02One was missed.
02:03It allowed them to play from in front,
02:05which allowed Derrick Henry to get going
02:07and Tyler Huntley on the ground as well.
02:10They actually, you know, like you said,
02:12they held them to, I believe, what was it?
02:13Four overall field goal attempts.
02:16There was an interception in there for Caleb,
02:18which was very costly.
02:19It was a great play by Nate Wiggins.
02:22Truly for the Ravens, though,
02:24this one is less about evaluating the performance
02:26and it's just the result.
02:28They could have won this game 47-46,
02:327-6, 30-2, it doesn't matter.
02:36It's now Lamar Jackson is set to return
02:39and here's the runout.
02:41A Monday night, Thursday night in Miami,
02:44at Minnesota, at Cleveland,
02:48home against the Jets,
02:50home against Cincinnati,
02:52home against Pittsburgh,
02:53at Cincinnati.
02:55Joe, it's on the board.
02:56They lay a touchdown
02:56in each of their next seven games.
03:02Right.
03:02They might lay a touchdown.
03:05They're going to lay at least a field goal
03:06in seven straight games.
03:09Yeah, they have the spark plug that they needed, right?
03:11Get us a win and then Lamar comes back
03:14and everything will be fine.
03:15Now, that's easier said than done,
03:17even though the schedule lines up
03:18to your point where there will be favorites
03:20in almost each and every game,
03:22but divisional games pose a problem,
03:24even though it's Cincinnati.
03:25Joe Flacco's there.
03:27The Jets got their first win.
03:29You never know.
03:29They're putting up points.
03:30So, here we go.
03:32I mean, and you said it in the pregame.
03:34Like, you said it when we broke down the game,
03:38right, on Sunday,
03:39was do we really believe that it's just,
03:43you know, oh, that Lamar's back
03:45and there's nine, ten-game winning streams.
03:48Yeah, it's possible,
03:50but it's the NFL.
03:51You're going to get everybody's best shot
03:53coming forward,
03:54especially the divisional matchups
03:56where Cincinnati's fighting,
03:58Pittsburgh's fighting.
03:59It's not just a layup,
04:01but they're going to be in a position
04:02barring any major injury
04:04to potentially run the table,
04:06but again, we'll see how it plays out.
