00:00On the Baltimore side of it, they are booked as favorites.
00:04And to some, that could be puzzling.
00:06The defense has been a bigger problem, you could argue, than the Lamar absence.
00:15It certainly was the biggest problem when Lamar was around.
00:19It is the healthiest the unit has been in some time today.
00:25Maybe some optimism there.
00:27We also have a new quarterback.
00:30Cooper Rush was miserable in his starts for the Ravens.
00:37And his ineptness trickled down to Derrick Henry,
00:43who has not had the type of season I know Baltimore had hoped for.
00:49There were some glimmers, though, as Joe and I last week, or two weeks ago, I guess at this point,
00:54had talked about Henry's workload.
00:57And that certainly came in.
00:59Finished the game with 24 carries, 122 yards.
01:03Didn't get into the end zone due to some nightmarish play calling inside the five-yard line from the Ravens.
01:10Tyler Huntley gets the ball.
01:12As you said it, Joe, against what is a hot Bears team who have won four in a row.
01:18How do you try and break this game down?
01:20I'm not going to overthink it.
01:22This is, and we saw this situation, I believe, last year, if I'm not mistaken, when Chicago was on the losing streak.
01:28And I believe they went out to Arizona or they went out to another place and they were getting, you know, points in that matchup.
01:35It was a public play and they got absolutely smashed in that ballgame.
01:39I'm going with the more consistent team.
01:41I cannot back Snoop Huntley and Baltimore in any way.
01:45I love Derrick Henry.
01:46And I believe the only way that they can win this game is if they run the football, shorten it, and try to get into the fourth quarter and steal it with a field goal.
01:56I do not have confidence in Baltimore offensively or defensively.
02:00And I know they had a better effort against Matt Stafford in the loss, 17-3, but at the end of the day, they didn't put up points.
02:08And that's just going to wear down your defense.
02:10I love Chicago in this matchup.
02:12I'll take the two and a half points on the road with a hot play caller, a team that has an identity, and a defense that's opportunistic lately and shut down Spencer Rattler and New Orleans last week, 26-14.
02:25Yeah, I really struggle with this one, Joe.
02:27Do you?
02:27Because I do, because, and this is funny, but we did this, you know, we've done this two straight Ravens games where we just talk, like, really, really talk.
02:35You know, a lot of times we come in, we know what we like.
02:38You're going to have to get me to the Bears' side, and I think it's going to be tough because I liked Chicago all week with Lamar in.
02:47Not a fade of Lamar, but a fade of the number.
02:49We saw it.
02:49It was going to be seven.
02:51I would have taken a chance that Caleb and the Bears could have hung with inside that number.
02:54I really would have.
02:55We now find ourselves in a really interesting spot, though, because this is the Ravens' season on the line.
03:01We've done a lot about, you know, Ravens' schedule talk.
03:03Hey, they can win here, win here, win here.
03:05But I've said from the beginning, none of it matters if they lose to the Bears.
03:08I refuse to believe this team is going to be one and six and just rip off, you know, ten straight wins and find themselves into the postseason.
03:16I just don't think that's going to be a thing, really, at all.
03:19Well, the defensive side of the ball is what I'm wondering, can they step up?
03:24This feels like a lower-scoring affair to me.
03:27That 45-and-a-half looks a little tall.
03:29Like, you're leaning Chicago.
03:30Where are you at on, like, a final score?
03:33Like, what's coming to your mind?
03:36Well, I mean, they could get to the 45-and-a-half easy.
03:40And they?
03:40Yeah, because if Chicago put – it all depends on which team is dictating the tempo.
03:47What do I mean by that?
03:48Well, if I'm Chicago and I'm Ben Johnson, I'm not going to play their style of football.
03:53I'm not going to look to run the football on the road.
03:56I'm sorry, not to start.
03:58I'm going to look to utilize the passing attack.
04:00I'm going to look to get all of my playmakers involved, including the running backs in the passing game.
04:05I'm going to jump out.
04:06Because I've been looking at Caleb numbers, but I couldn't get to any of them.
04:09Like, I like Caleb Williams today.
04:11I think Loveland is an option today.
04:13I hear it.
04:14You know, anytime –
04:15Don't fall commit.
04:16Right.
04:16So, I think that's definitely going to be an option.
04:18Again, I like DJ Moore.
04:21And I know he – but, again, he's not the number one.
04:24But I like him at pay dirt.
04:25I took him plus 270.
04:27Anytime touchdown, I did alt him 50-plus.
04:30I believe – look, if Baltimore is going to come in with that defensive mind frame,
04:35the way they did against Matt Stafford, they're going to take away the number one option.
04:39A Dunes A's out, right?
04:41You could go to secondary options, but DJ Moore is still on that offense.
04:45How do you feel about the Ravens offensively quickly before we hit the break?
04:48The only – he's been costing me, but I went back to the well because Rashad Bateman.
04:53I mean, 17-and-a-half.
04:55His number is 17-and-a-half.
04:56Yeah, but that's not going to determine anything.
04:58No, but my –
04:59No, no, no.
05:00No, it is what I ask.
05:02The only way – put it this way.
05:03The only way Baltimore can cover this line is if they utilize Derrick Henry just the way they did against the Rams.
05:11How many carries did he get?
05:1224.
05:1324.
05:14Right.
05:14But let me – you are not getting anything near – Derrick Henry's numbers look like Lamar's playing.
05:21Yeah, but you're going to sit here and tell me, do you have confidence in Snoop leading them down?
05:28That's why I'm thinking I'm during the game.
05:30Yeah, but I think if Chicago jumps up, it's blowout.
