00:41But realistically, first-year head coach,

00:45and that's 4-3 is acceptable as far as I'm concerned

00:49after basically eight weeks of the regular season.

00:52I don't think it's a bad effort,

00:53especially when you started 0-2.

00:56You couldn't get some victories under your belt.

00:58You got blown out by Detroit.

00:59This team is much more competitive,

01:01even though they didn't get the victory against Baltimore.

01:04They were still in a position

01:06to maybe pull it out in the fourth quarter,

01:08and that's all you could ask for.

01:10Again, I never expected this team

01:12to be an 11- or a 12-win football team.

01:16I think nine was really the cusp

01:18of where you could get with a first-year head coach,

01:21and because of where Caleb was with the development.

01:24But I'd be happy with this if I'm a Bear fan.

01:31But I guess I am more than on the side of the Bear fan,

01:35where your first two defeats were very upsetting.

01:45and dumped you right back on that same head.

01:48And while they had the four straight wins,

01:49at no point did they...

01:51It didn't feel like,

01:52hey, we're watching one of the best teams in the league.

01:54It's like, hey, you're putting up results,

01:55but trend.

01:57And I think I go to some of your analysis

01:59heading into the game against Baltimore,

02:00where it's like,

02:01is Tyler Huntley that much of an upgrade over Cooper Rush,

02:04where this all of a sudden should be any different

02:06than what we had seen?

02:07And it was all of a sudden, Joe, very different.

02:09One thing you were bang on about,

02:10you're like, well, you're going to need Tyler Huntley

02:11to actually complete passes.

02:38that this isn't just a Caleb-struggled thing.

02:42really struggled within this football game.

02:44But for Chicago,

02:46you're number one.

02:48They were about picked to make the playoffs.
