00:00Starting off what we're hearing at Computex, we are getting a lot of different announcements that are coming through.
00:04For instance, we're hearing that NVIDIA, TSMC, Foxconn, they're going to be building an AI supercomputer together.
00:11You've got NVIDIA as well that's saying that it's going to be using AI chips from other systems or other companies,
00:16so opening the door to that.
00:18But then at the same time, you've got this sort of backdrop that's building now,
00:22particularly when it comes to Huawei and their technology,
00:26because the U.S. put out a warning last week that's saying that any company anywhere in the world that was using Huawei chips,
00:33that's the Ascend we're referring to here in particular, could be in violation of U.S. rules,
00:39and so that they could face these companies any sort of criminal charges for choosing to pursue using that technology.
00:46Now, China has been pushing back on this, and the U.S. in response has sort of dropped some of their wording by saying,
00:53look, not anywhere in the world, but they haven't actually rescinded the warning completely.
00:57And so, again, we're hearing from Beijing on this, saying that all of the progress that's been made in the trade talks so far
01:03could actually be at risk.
01:05At the same time as well, just to note, we've been hearing from Democrats overnight,
01:09the likes of Elizabeth Warren, for instance, Chuck Schumer,
01:12writing a letter to the White House, essentially,
01:16and the Trump administration laying out their concerns about these deals that were signed in the Middle East last week
01:22that would send billions of dollars of advanced U.S. technology,
01:26saying that there are risks involved with that,
01:28that technology could end up in the hands of China.
