00:00India's luxury retail moment has arrived in sync with the country nearing a million millionaires.

00:07Galerie Lafayette is set to open in a few weeks, giving India its first luxury department store

00:14with over 200 international brands, many of which are here in the country for the first time.

00:26hopes to launch in India. Really fast growing and to be honest it's exciting and to be here at the

00:32beginning of this luxury entering the country looking at the landscape is not so crowded.

00:3870% of these 270 plus brands are first time to this country. While consumers may have well

00:45traveled they may not have interacted with a large number of these brands in that sense.

00:49Based on the success will give us confidence to actually take this forward to next door to Delhi,

00:55that potentially multiple other Indian markets, at least two or three more markets which have

01:00a longer term potential to have a store of this kind.
