00:00There's a sense of panic and pessimism among non-profit leaders.

00:05To speak plainly, in the U.S., around $769 million has already been lost year to date.

00:1322,000 non-profit jobs have been slashed since the beginning of this year alone.

00:20And so non-profit leaders are very, very concerned.

00:23We pulled together some of the largest non-profit heads in Goldman Sachs headquarters

00:29to really talk about this, really to hear from them what they're experiencing.

00:33And frankly, what do they need?

00:36The answer back, Laura, was loud and clear.

00:40We need unrestricted multi-year funding, please.

00:45And I said back to them, I said, we're happy to do that,

00:50but the amount that I'm giving won't necessarily change.

00:54And so if I do multi-year unrestricted, it means that this room of non-profit leaders may get smaller next year

01:02because we're doing multi-year funding.

01:05And you may not be surprised by their answer back.

01:09Without a single dissenter, they said, do non-restricted multi-year funding.

01:14I'd love to be the one getting the multi-year funding.

01:17But if I'm not, I'm happy to know that this non-profit next to me in the room is going to get it

01:23because there's such a critical need for it.

01:25And so we adjusted that RFP program to really provide unrestricted multi-year funding.
