00:21The snow began falling heavily in Tibet on Friday.

00:24Authorities say rescue calls reported collapsed tents due to the snow with hikers suffering hypothermia.

00:29Experts say the region is suffering from extreme weather as neighboring Nepal deals with heavy rains that triggered landslides.

00:36About 150,000 Chinese residents were forced from their homes as well as Typhoon Matmo made landfall.
