00:00The two goals at the end of each period, that was something the team struggled in the long last season.
00:05What are you attributing them to?
00:08It's just, it's a lack of awareness, situational play, managing the game the right way.
00:18You know, controlling those situations is how you win.
00:21We obviously have to learn how to win.
00:23And, you know, I look at our last two outings and, you know, that's not the game that we want to put on the ice every night that we think will give us a chance to win, that's for sure.
00:32You know, you can't play two-thirds of a game or half of a game and think you're going to win consistently.
00:39And the last two games, that's what we did.
00:41And the other element of it is I don't think we played nearly as smart.
00:45You know, the discipline and the diligence that we've put in from day one at training camp and becoming a harder team to play against and priding ourselves on a commitment to play defense.
00:58A lot of that starts up the ice with your decisions that you make with and without the puck.
01:04You know, I thought, you know, we were chasing offense so much.
01:11We left ourselves vulnerable on the other side.
01:14We gave up, I don't know how many odd man rushes, but more than we've had in the whole year.
01:20And I think it's a result of chasing offense.
01:23And I think when you start to chase the game, you know, it just makes it hard to win.
01:29So I think the strides that we made from a defensive standpoint, just in being stingy and cutting down the quality and the quantity of chances, both off the rush and in zone,
01:40I feel like we, you know, we digress there.
01:43We took two steps backwards in the last two games.
01:48And that's something that we've got to grab a hold of right away.
