00:00Well, it's humbling. You know, I've said this on a number of occasions since I got the job,

00:04and it's an incredible honor to be the head coach of the New York Rangers,

00:08a franchise that has, you know, such history to it.

00:12For me, it's just a privilege that I don't take for granted.

00:17I'm excited about the group of players that we have here.

00:20I think there's a certain enthusiasm around the team right now since day one of training camp

00:25that's been really rewarding from a coaching standpoint.

00:27It's tangible. We can feel it.

00:30And, you know, and I think we're building a relationship with the players right now

00:34that, you know, that will be meaningful moving forward, you know.

00:38And so to get the first win, it means a lot to me.

00:42JT gave me the game puck, which was nice, you know.

00:44He made a joke about how long our video meetings are,

00:47but they'll continue to be long until we get on the right page and on the same page.
