00:00We knew with A.J. Brown out of the game, it was going to be a heavy dose of Saquon Barkley,

00:07and they just continue to gash and gash and gash this Giants defense.

00:14From this Giants defense and what we're seeing on the broadcast,

00:17is it making you skew more to the D.C. or is it the players, the execution aspect?

00:25If you ask the players, they take full responsibility for it.

00:30I know our columnist, Steve Durvey, talked to a bunch of them this week,

00:33and they're like, it's on us. It's not on Shane.

00:37But you're right. It is concerning that after such a debacle in the fourth quarter last week,

00:43the second play from scrimmage today is that long touchdown run by Barkley.

00:47We kind of felt like there was a big Barkley game coming just based on how much he struggled

00:51and whatever he was averaging, like 3.3 yards per carry is not a sustainable number

00:57for someone like Barkley in the long run who ran for over 2,000 yards last year.

01:02It was a little discouraging from the Giants standpoint to see that happen so quickly

01:06after last week, after Dable standing by Shane this week,

01:11after the players taking responsibility this week.

01:15To have a sort of tone setter like that right away was just kind of a difficult way to start the game.
