00:00When you were with the Yankees, you know, one thing that kind of stuck out at one point was, you know, Eduardo Nunez really struggled in the field at one point when you were with the Yankees.
00:08You know, you've dealt with, we've seen this a little bit also in you being with the team with Anthony Volpe.
00:13What do you think he needs to do to, like, improve and maybe just get over the hump here and get rid of the yips, as they say?
00:21You know, it's crazy. I think it's like people need to relax.
00:24I just watched, like, you know, Miguel Andujar got ran out of here because we said he couldn't catch ground balls.
00:29I mean, that guy's still playing in the big leagues today.
00:31I think, you know, it's hard to develop young talent here just because of the demand, right?
00:39Like, we're trying to win the World Series every year.
00:40You don't have time for guys to go through growing pains.
00:43I mean, I feel like Gary Sanchez could still be catching for us if we had patience, if we were able to, like, as a fan base, as a city, let these kids go through whatever they're going to go through.
00:55The game's hard to play, man. It's very difficult.
00:57And we know, you know, what's at stake and what we're trying to do every year, you know, when you put on those pinstripes.
01:04And it's just hard to let kids develop.
01:05So, you know, I think about, yeah, the struggles that Noonie went through were, like, for two weeks.
01:11And then all of a sudden he can't play the field, you know.
01:14And then he goes off to Boston and has a great career.
01:16So, it's like, you know, it's got to be a little give and take with either the city, the fan base, and sometimes the organization and giving these kids a break and, you know, letting them go through their lumps because you're going to have ups and downs.
01:28And if you look at all these guys that I'm talking about, they're all under 25, every single one of them.
01:34So, it's just hard to break in and be an everyday player with the Yankees, no matter who you are.
