Pockets of Sydney are now covered in purple, with jacaranda trees back in bloom. And thousands of Sydneysiders and tourists are flocking the streets to make the most of the view.

00:05It just feels like spring and everyone is excited.
00:09The beloved jacaranda is back in bloom, this time a little earlier than usual thanks to lots of rain and warm weather.
