00:00Flower enthusiasts are returning to see the rainbow painted region.
00:06My husband and I have been looking forward to coming to Western Australia in the wild flower season for a number of years.
00:13Tourists flocking to WA for the perfect shot, among thousands to visit so far this year.
00:19We haven't got to where we expected a lot of days because we've made so many stops to take photos.
00:24We particularly like it when the flowers are all mixed together so you've got the purples and all the different whites and gold and all mixed together.
00:32So we've really enjoyed seeing that.
00:35Visitor numbers have increased significantly since the COVID pandemic with more than 40% of tourists traveling from outside of WA.
00:44And each wildflower enthusiast keen to see something different.
00:48There's the wildflower hunters that come to see carpets of Everlastings.
00:53Then you have the real ridgy-didge, I'm looking for orchids hunters.
00:58They come with their good lenses and their orchid eye.
01:03It's mind-blowing the amount of orchid varieties we have in these regions.
01:08It's outstanding really.
01:10Hunters are encouraged to get in quick before flowers close up for another year.
01:15If it stays cool we'll have the flowers around for longer but if it gets really hot they'll start turning.
01:22It's only a short three months but pop in and see us.
01:24When colour creates joy.
01:26It's good at work.
01:27Known.
01:28Let's pray.
01:29Let's pray.
01:30Until next time...
01:31If we're at peace, you can take open.
01:32Let's pray.
01:33Let's pray for joy.
01:35By the way you called and enjoy.
01:36Let's pray.
01:37Let's pray for joy.
