00:05They're actually getting points in Ames today going up against Iowa State

00:08in the total that's just at 49-and-a-half.

00:12Yeah, we saw the situation play out.

00:15They were 7-0 last year, and then all of a sudden they got knocked around

00:18a couple games down the stretch before winning the bowl game against Colorado.

00:23Iowa State has to win this game, right?

00:25They have an outside shot to potentially win the Big 12 championship.

00:28It starts today.

00:29The fact that it's in Jack Trice Stadium I think benefits Iowa State.

00:33Still give the quarterback advantage to Rocco Beck.

00:36I like Iowa State at home.

00:38I know they didn't step up against Cincinnati,

00:40but that Cincinnati team has proven to be one of the most dominant

00:43in the Big 12 right now.

00:45They play Baylor a little bit later.

00:47Give me Iowa State.

00:48I would lay it.

00:49Bachmeier's played well, and L.J. Martin in that offense can pound the rock,

00:54but they're coming off the holy war.

00:56They got that victory.

00:57Now you've got to go on the road.

00:58I think they get clipped today.

01:00It's pretty interesting, too, because you have a quarterback that leaves.

01:02Oh, they're not going to be able to rebound.

01:03Really good season on the way here for BYU.

01:05We'll see if it continues today at Iowa State.

01:07Let's fit in one more game in this segment, Joe.

01:09Illinois and Washington.

01:10Illinois on the road, Pacific Northwest.

01:11No surprise, clouds with a chance of some drizzle and rain in the forecast,

01:15but Washington is a favorite here at minus 3.5 points.

01:18And the total, Joe, opened up at 54.5,

01:20still sits 54.5 across the board, Big Ten battle.

01:22What's interesting is Jed Fish being mentioned now for some of these other jobs.

01:27He just got to Seattle last year.

01:28I mean, it's incredible.

01:30DeMond Williams and Coleman, the running back for Washington,

01:32got smacked around by Michigan.

01:34They're a much better home team than they are the road.

01:37Look, it wouldn't shock me if Illinois wins this game,

01:40but the fact that it's cross country basically from the Midwest to Seattle,

01:44I benefit the Huskies, and the speed, I benefit Washington's offense.

01:47Again, one of my favorite running backs is Coleman, tough runner between the tackles.

01:52I lean to Washington because they're in Seattle in that defense.

01:56They're stepping up, more opportunistic in Husky Stadium.

02:00Give me Washington laying the 4.5.

02:03Don't love it, though.

02:04But like I said, I do feel we get points over the total today as well.

02:07Interesting, too.

02:08Both of these teams, Joe, in the Big Ten, sitting at 2-2,

02:11obviously behind the big boys in that division,

02:12which is actually the Indiana Hoosiers at 4-0 and the Ohio State Buckeyes at 4-0.

02:17This is a pretty big one here,

02:18so it looks like one of these teams is going to move to 3-2.

02:20Husky Stadium, Joe, comes alive today?

02:22It should.

02:22They get the boys back?

02:23Yeah, absolutely.

02:24Again, they should be roaring today.
