00:00We're talking about the ACC rivalry, Virginia and North Carolina.
00:05North Carolina coach has won three of the last four in the series,
00:09including last year in dominating fashion.
00:12They won this matchup 41-14, but it's a tale of two teams.
00:16Virginia is hot as any team in the conference.
00:19They only have one loss in the regular season.
00:21They go on the road laying 10.5 points in this ballgame, coach.
00:2551.5 is the total.
00:27We saw North Carolina lose a very close ballgame against Cal.
00:32How do you see this matchup playing out?
00:34Yeah, I still think you've got two programs heading in different directions.
00:38You know, UVA has won five straight football games,
00:42and they've won three, the last three, two of them in overtime,
00:45the other on a late safety that meant the difference in the football game.
00:49So if this game is close, even if North Carolina does play well,
00:53and they played well last week but lost because of their three turnovers,
00:57including the one on the goal line that cost them,
01:00UVA wins ballgames at the end of the game,
01:03and they have not lost a fumble all year,
01:06which means they are great at protecting the ball.
01:09And I just want to add, I mean, their head coach,
01:12Tony and Ted,
01:12Tony Ellen was the running back coach at Clemson when I was an analyst there
01:17a couple of years ago, and he doesn't fumble the ball,
01:22doesn't turn it over because he does a great job of teaching that.
01:24But really, we've got a UVA team heading in a positive direction.
01:29They're bowl eligible for the first time since Coach Elliott has been there,
01:33and they can see bigger things coming because they beat Louisville,
01:36which is the team that beat Miami.
01:38So I like UVA, and I like them to take them with the points.
01:42Well, when you look at the progression of Virginia, Chandler Morris, a great addition.
01:49He comes, by the way, at TCU in North Texas.
01:51Tony Elliott, plug-and-play type of quarterback.
01:54They lost Calandria to UNLV.
01:57Chandler Morris has completed 68% of his passes, over 1,600 passing yards,
02:0211 touchdowns, only four interceptions.
02:05If he plays like that, especially in this road environment, Coach,
02:09Virginia should win this ballgame.
02:11Virginia, another team in the conference, very good in run support,
02:15holding opposing offenses less than four yards per carry
02:18and only 120 yards on the ground against opposing offenses.
02:23If North Carolina is going to win this game, what do they have to do offensively?
02:28Well, they have to be able to run the ball better, too.
02:31And their quarterback, they have not gotten much notch production out of their quarterback,
02:36Gio Lopez.
02:37I think he's got three touchdown passes the entire year.
02:40That's not the way you've got to have a quarterback play.
02:44They've got to be better balanced, but throw the ball, make big plays.
02:48They've got to be more productive because they're not scoring very many points.
02:5218.7 points a game.
02:53They're going to have to score more points because they're not going to be able to keep up with Virginia.
02:57Okay.
02:58All right.
