00:00So just around 8.40 a.m., the Waldorf Volunteer Fire Department, along with several other fire departments here in Charles County, responded here to Decoration Circle North for a recorded dwelling fire.
00:13Upon arrival, Sheriff's Office was actually the first to arrive.
00:17When they arrived, they observed heavy fire on the right side of the home, also throughout the home.
00:23They were immediately told that there was somebody inside, possibly other several family members.
00:28They, of course, the Waldorf Fire Department arrived here just minutes later, if not just one minute later, and they also discovered heavy fire throughout the house.
00:38It took firefighters about an hour to place the fire under control.
00:42There is a total of nine people that reside here.
00:45Three of those are safely where they need to be.
00:49You have just seen the arrival of also Bureau Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearm agents.
00:53They are working with us on this investigation, which is standard operating procedure due to any loss of life.
